Honestly i think this raises a good point, we should let the bible be an elective in high school. I also think we should let the 'deep' sciences like biology and chemistry be electives, why? because im currently taking chemistry and it is hard as steel balls. I think a school is a place of learning, not converting people to Christianity. As a student of a Christian High School, I was told to pray every morning and religious class was compulsory.

The bible should be read in classes of relevance (religious education) only. If students or teachers want to have a prayer club or such, then they should do it in their own time. Try to imagine being at a Christian school as an Atheist, hindu or any other culture. It is not fair and is not multi-cultural.
