  • @jayhawk88z Are you an Omiolo groupee?

  • thank God for the Adams road band

  • @jayhawk88z Blasphemous.

  • inspiring indeed, the world would be a much better place if people spent more of their time doing things like this :). debating religion is so fruitless, pointless, but this, people actually get benefit out of it. may god bless them and keep them :)

Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward.

  • @edpanu1960 What about loud music in Calvary Chapel churches?

  • The complete opposite to Adam's road band? How so? How do you know that they don't do good works? Perhaps you are just upset because they left the "church" and found freedom in the true Jesus of the bible. Besides, the Mormon church is not the only religious entity that performs good works.

  • @dorisfenella What are you talking about? Did you mean to send that to me?

  • What a nice thing to do for someone and by the way your report was cut short. Strange how you titled this as the story has nothing to do with Adams Road Band ,so that makes this an all out lie. Its senseless . Your BornAgainstMormons name is equally senseless. Read the New Testiment and stop wasting time, your soul is at stake.

  • @lakebreezea1 Yes, it is a nice thing to do for someone else. Their mission appears to be the complete opposite of Adam´s Road.

  • @BornAgainstMormons I don't understand why in a world where we (those who believe in Christ ) make rude videos and comments to each other. How can this Glorify God? Best wishes to you all in the future Where theres life theres hope.

  • BAM, when it comes to Max, I think it is a losing battle to inform AR fans. Those guys will NOT speak to what goes on behind the closed doors of the compound... ur... I mean "hotel". It has been a very long time since I've been affiliated with any of them. I never pledged an oath to Max but I was there for the early propecies regarding the band. I could have easily fallen into becoming a Maxite, but circumstance pulled me out of Winter Garden before it came to that.

  • @sirnathan .... make that early "prophecies". I can't abide mispellings.

  • The Church remains just as good a chance as Manly, Parramatta, the Dragons or Canterbury of attracting boom Sea Eagles rookie Will Hopoate.

The 18-year-old is the subject of big money offers from at least four NRL clubs but confirmed on Monday that he seriously considering a two-year stint as a missionary for his Mormon faith.

  • @omiolo Rugby?

  • he said. "I don't think they would be any more tolerant of us putting something on that would be offensive or inappropriate -- nor would we choose to put that on, because that's not how we run. If it wouldn't run for Bonneville, it's not doing to run for Hubbard either."

Perhaps the only exception is when it comes to casino and state lottery commercials. Owing to its Mormon credo, Bonneville banned ads for any form of gambling on its radio stations. Horowitz said Hubbard will accept them.

  • You're right, I should not stand up for the things I believe in without checking the facts first. I do know who Max is, and I have gotten all the facts from the actual source. Wheras you on the other hand, have no idea what these guys are truely like...you only go off of other peoples opinions that have never done their research. If you want to tell me to get my facts before supporting them, perhaps you should get the facts of the LDS church and come to know the truth before you declair its true

  • @bornagainstmormons If you are truely trying to show people the "harm" AR is doing, you would fill me into the details right? What does Max have to do with their stories? I suppose without you telling me, I will have to continue to support them "blindly"

  • @BornAgainstMormons I guess I don't know who Max Blanchard is.....as much as I know nothing about Harry Potter or the refrence you gave from the (books?). Perhaps you can fill me in on what you are talking about....and what it has to do with AR?

  • @DiannaBrickey If you do not know who Max Blanchard is, I suggest you not defend Micah Wilder and his cult without the facts.

  • @BornAgainstMormons

How did you ever get a job working for Brigham Young University department of apologetics? I see the job ad now: looking for libelous fools willing to head our new slander department. People with integrity need not apply. Oh but you must have a temple recommend! What about question number 9? Are you honest in your dealings with your fellowmen? From what I can tell from your videos and posts Mormons are Hypocrites, liars and slanderers. Is that the fruit of the LDS faith?

  • @BornAgainstMormons

Facts? Are you for real! Facts have never had anything to do with Mormon apologetics. I refer to your deliberate deceptions and lies about others, especially Shawn McCraney. There is no truth or honor in you. You are a prime example of Mormon fruit and I hope the world sees this for themselves through your bornagainstmormons site plagiarized from Shawn by slightly changing the name. These my fellow americans are your Mormon fruits, & the demons of hell are their testament.

  • I have a predicition.....BAM is going to say "Did Max (or another name) tell you to say that?"

  • @DiannaBrickey I am pretty sure I have been sticking with Max Blanchard since you treat his name like Voldemort in Harry Potter.

  • You've GOT to be kidding! No actual response from bornagainstmormon.....only the same meaningless questioning that's not getting anyone anywhere

  • What are you trying to get at exactly? That you know their names? I'm so impressed

  • What are you trying to get at exactly? That you know their names? I'm so impressed

  • You never answer any of my questions directly! No, Micah doesn't have healing powers on his own. Max probably wouldn't get involved; but he's not technically IN their band. He does sound and drives their tour bus

  • No, noone is forced to leave the band. Why would you ask if Micah has the power of healing? If a true Christian calls on the power of Jesus, He (Jesus) will heal through that person's hands.

  • @DiannaBrickey I don't think you answered that question. How would Max answer it?

  • @BornAgainstMormons

Your "Prophet" approve of this tactic of maligning people with purposeful lies? Can your doctrines not stand up against scrutiny, or even the call by your own dead leadership that what Joseph Smith said should be tested? You are a disgrace to Good Mormons out there who actually believe that you have actual good in you. I have sent a copy of this to your "prophet" for comment. I will not hold my breath. I am sure he approved it already.

  • No, it isn't. If any of the members wish to move from the HOTEL, that is their choice. BUT, if a missionary leaves the MTC, they ARE removed from the Church

  • @DiannaBrickey I didn't say it wasn't their choice, I asked if they would be removed from the band? Does Micah Wilder have the gift of healing?

  • @BornAgainstMormons Anyone has the power of healing through Jesus Christ. But not through your priesthood.

  • @BornAgainstMormons “There is no salvation without accepting Joseph Smith."

    Joseph Fielding Smith

    Do you believe this?

  • @BornAgainstMormons I have to admit it's pretty pathetic the vendetta you have against Adam's Road. And no doubt you have never met them, or been to one of their concerts, or talked to one of them personally. You accuse them of being hateful and look what you are doing. Spending your time trying to tear them down, and with what basis? At least they have a Biblical argument against the Mormon Church. At least they have Biblical justification for their ministry. What is yours?

  • @BornAgainstMormons It's also amusing that the video you use to attack Adam's Road and show how horrible are is actually against what Jesus taught in the Bible. Look at you sound your trumpet before men so all will see how good you are! It's sad really, that people who are involved with FARMS and Shield are involved in such petty slander. "Woe to you, HYPOCRITES!"

  • @BornAgainstMormons And of course you have no problem with a man who lied, cheated stole, took other men's wives, slept with 14 year olds, murdered, changed the Bible, was violent, had a temper, claimed to do more than Jesus, deceived....

You nearly worship this man yet Adam's Road is so bad? It's laughable.

  • @jonathandavid33 Trying to divert attention away from the compound and Micah Wilder? Did Max tell you to do that or are you able to do so on your own?

  • @BornAgainstMormons

Monson tell you to attack Christians? You have to be temple worthy in order to attack Christians in your organization do you not? It it obvious then that Monson is behind all of these attacks so at least be honest about that. If you say he is not then your are a liar. Your funding comes from Brigham Young University and other "Temple worthy" members of you church who must swear an allegiance to your "Prophet" does it not? Therefore it must be sanctioned by Monson. Pitiful!

  • @jonathandavid33 You seem like you don't want to answer questions. Will Max let you answer questions?

  • Shields member, It’s invasion of privacy and libelous to malign private citizens by name and I will not do so. I will note that you err in listening to a missionary urban legend perpetuated by a foolish individual who was sent home from his mission and disfelloweshipped for seriously breaking the law of chastity. Micah Wilder never met your "informant", whom knows nothing about AR or even Micah personally. You have made a grievous error in being convinced otherwise. Govern yourself accordingly.

  • @jonathandavid33 Shields member? Is that something that Max Blanchard told you to say? Does it make sense when you write it?

  • @BornAgainstMormons

Yes Shields. This site, Shields, FARMS and FAIR appended through a string of hypocritical "temple worthy" apologists who are all academically connected to Brigham Young University and the LDS Church through stewardship. I "Doug" into it. This organization that is linked together through obedience to the "priesthood" does the dirty work of the Church so the "prophet" can at least have the appearance of keeping his hands clean. The Church can't stand on its merits?

  • @jonathandavid33 Is that what Max Blanchard told you?

  • @BornAgainstMormons

Members of Adam's Road were not chosen by Christ to be wise by human standards, or to be of any influence or of noble birth, but Jesus chose them in their weaknesses to shame those who are strong. The big and mighty Mormon Church with its billion$, and millions of members armed with their finest brains at Brigham Young University, cannot think of anything any better to do then bring shame to the Church by taking pot-shots at Christian boys testifying of Jesus. How Pitiful!

  • "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate."

With all your academia & brilliant minds tethered together, you still lack the ability to comprehend Christ’s simple Truth. Where are your earthly leaders who serve Jesus and live in poverty? Which of your “Apostles” sold all they had and shared with the other apostles all that was received then giving the surplus to the poor, so as to humbly serve Jesus in Faith? Answer: Nowhere!

  • They all got married seperatly, and they live in the hotel they operate. If you do your research, you'll see that the have restored a bed and breakfast hotel. Living there sustains them so they can tour the country playing shows, make & give away cd's and dvd's, spreading the word of God FREE of charge to those that wish to hear them. Does it bother you that missionaries being trained live in a compound, then with the same sex for 2 years?

  • @DiannaBrickey Is it true that if anyone leaves the compound they are removed from the band?

  • @BornAgainstMormons Actually, Adam's Road had two members for a while that lived outside the hotel. One lived nearby in Florida and the other lived all the way in Arkansas. You mock them for following the Biblical principle of community living? The support one another in a common purpose of serving the Lord Jesus Christ. Can you say the same? Can a missionary in training leave the MTC and still serve as a missionary? Of course not. Get real haters. The hate you spew toward Micah is sickening.

  • Jesus also said that He was the last prophet come to bring the new law. The Spirit is to be our guide. To watch out for false Prophets....which is anyone come after Jesus died on the cross

  • @DiannaBrickey Does it bother you that Adam's Road is intermarried and they live in a compound?

  • @omiolo the pharasiees rebuked Jesus for eating and drinking wine with the "less righteous". Jesus responded by telling them that it wasn't what goes into the mouth but what comes out that defilesa man. The Bible says to use these things sparingly, not to cut them out like the Mormon's do. Jesus drank wine, turned water into wine, even used wine to represent His blood

  • On the contrary. I know those men well and I have seen many of their shows. Many of their songs (and all on their 3rd album) come from straight out of the Bible. When teaching to believe in God's gift of grace, His Son, Jesus...how can that NOT be helping people come to Him?!

  • @DiannaBrickey Jesus was mocked by the wicked. Adam's Road mocks. These four young men serve God by serving their fellow men. They help the widow and the fatherless. The complete opposite of Adam's Road.

  • And if you were speaking about my initial response, I wasn't mocking either. It was pure observation. Maybe you should read the Bible and see how Jesus spoke to the Pharisees. They too perceived his bluntness as mocking. Truth is hard to hear, especially for stubborn individuals that know inside that they're wrong but can't admit it to themselves or others for fear of rejection. I'll tell you what, if you turn your life to Christ, and believe in God's grace alone, you'll not be rejected by Him

  • Telling the truth is far from mocking. As good friends of the guys in Adam's Road, I know them well and never have I heard any of them "mock" anyone. The true love that they have for EVERYONE, especially Mormon's (because they were there before) is incredible. They never charge anyone to hear/have their albums. If you actually listen to their songs, 95% is straight from the BIBLE.....If that's true....I suppose the Bible is a "mocking" tool?!

  • If these boys were following the Gospel of Jesus then they wouldn't have sounded a trumpet before them as the hypocrites do but they shouldn't have even let their left hand know what their right hand did.

And it's funny that BornAgainstMormons told Dianna that mocking is not a part of the gospel of Jesus Christ because isn't that what titling this video what it is mocking the Adam's Road band?

  • There is no denying that what these return missionaries did was a good thing and they can have their reward- all the praise and recognition from the news station, here online, and elsewhere. Jesus said in Matt. 6:1-4 to beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them because you won't get a reward from your Father who is in heaven, your reward is what you get from the recognition here on earth.

  • What exactly makes these guys completely opposite from Adam's Road? OH! I get it! Adam's Road is actually helping people come to Christ, whereas these guys are condemning people by teaching them a false gospel!

  • @DiannaBrickey Mocking is not part of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is part of those that are against the gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • @DiannaBrickey "Adam's Road is actually helping people come to Christ"

we BOTH know that is about as FAR from the truth as sin is from good.

  • Look at us! Look at our good deeds! Aren't we wonderful!

"On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'"

I will pray for these young men that they will know of the true Work, that which Jesus did on the Cross when He shed His blood for them.

  • By the way, lots of people do good works. Atheists do good works. Muslims do good works. Wickens do good works. Catholics to more good works than anybody. What matters is the fruit of true faith, which is a testimony of Jesus Christ. Salvation is not by the good works you do, but by the Good Work Jesus did on the cross that tore the veil for us and allowed us, as sinners, to be reconciled to the faith by grace through faith. When someone is saved those good works will follow.

  • Do these men believe Jesus is all they need, they nothing they do can contribute to the work Jesus did on the cross? Can they bear pure testimony of the saving blood of Jesus, that they have been born again through Him and now they are saved by the grace of God and not by any doing of their own? Because that is the testimony I have heard from Adam's Road. And yeah, it is the opposite. No Joseph Smith, Thomas Monson, temples, priesthood, tithing, handshakes, oaths...just Jesus.

  • Again, who are you to judge the works of Adam's Road? Do you follow them around the country? Have you been to any of their concerts? Have you witnessed them minister? And so you criticize them for not parading their "good deeds" for all the world to see? Of course you won't know if they give to the poor, fast, pray, or help the needy. Those things are to be done in secret. The greatest fruit of a Christian is the true and pure testimony of Jesus Christ. Do these men have that? I

  • By the way, only one of them ended their mission early, and you know why? His testimony of Jesus Christ. Micah was sent home two weeks early because he confessed that Jesus Christ was all he needed to be saved, and that he had faith in Jesus and needed nothing else. He was called a devil because of his testimony in Jesus and Jesus alone. Now he and Adam's Road travel the country in a non-profit ministry sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ that His death on the Cross was enough to cover ours sins

  • "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

  • You are right, these men are the complete opposite of Adam's Road. They do their good works to be seen by men. They do not testify of the saving power of Jesus' blood. They do not teach that Jesus is all you need. They do not point people to the Cross of Jesus Christ. They do not teach the "Good News" as given in the Bible. They do not travel the nation preaching salvation through Jesus and His blood and in no other way. They do not believe Jesus' death on the Cross was enough to save them.

  • How would you know the "good works" of Adam's Road anyway? They don't do what they do to be seen by men as is the norm with the Pharisaical Mormons. How do you know know don't help the widows, feed the hungry, give to charities, clothe the naked?

They sound no trumpet before them when doing good works. The only trumpet they sound is the testimony of Jesus Christ being the only way to Heaven. Not sure how much you know about their ministry but their entire message is "Jesus is all you need"!

  • "Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret."

  • "Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven."

Just another great example of Mormons publicizing their own good works. Good luck with those treasures in Heaven, your treasures are here on earth.

really, what part? What else would you like to make up?

  • @omiolo u ever hear of Pleasant Grove? thats on the bench of utah mountain. and i was trying to say u seemed like a nonjudgemental mormon...

  • @omiolo i get that ur one of the nondepartmental mormons...i wish i had grown up around more lds like u. unfortunately i didnt get that chance.

  • Along our way we are aided in our choices through the sustaining influence of the Spirit. • @BornAgainstMormons I doubt anyone would argue that Mormons don't do good deeds, but it doesn't take being a Mormon to be brave, sacrificial or to give one's life for another. I have family members who were Episcopal, Baptist and even agnostic who gave their lives to save others. Sadly, being a "good person" and even doing many good deeds is not salvation. Salvation comes from complete faith in and dependence upon the person of Jesus and HIS WORKS. Our works are as filthy rags compared to His.

  • @godluvsmormons Mormon Christian good works, they glorify our Father in Heaven. The complete opposite of Adam's Road.

  • @BornAgainstMormons i knew of a returned missionary who recieved divine revelation from god to slaughter his baby boy.he did and hes now sitting in prison.

go visit Utah valley. go to orem. go live there for a while. look into the faces of those children who are being molested by bishups. Yup the mormons do it too! its not just other churches.

  • @83Mathdude "i knew of a returned missionary who recieved divine revelation from god to slaughter his baby boy"

I knew of an angel of light, who turned out to be Satan. What is your point?

or as this video calls it, the COMPLETE opposite of Adam's Road.

  • @godluvsmormons bornagainstmormons doesnt care. be careful with this dude because he will start harassing you by constantly sending you promoted mormon vids!

  • @83Mathdude yeah, he is the quintessential anti Christian. I have to admit though, in some ways, we breed this kind of hatred or help to by not educating young and or inexperienced Christians on the importance of tempering our zeal with Godly love and frankly, intelligence. There are some people who have no business witnessing on the street or defending the faith, unfortunately, those are the people who get noticed

  • Safety threats abound in Japan, where the church’s Sendai mission includes the troubled Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, currently surrounded by a 12-mile evacuation zone.

  • And how is this the "opposite" of the guys in Adam's Road? Are you so threatened by them that you have to attack them on YouTube? They preach the truth through their music whether you like it or not, evil will always fight against the truth. Salvation comes only through Jesus Christ, not through membership in the Mormon Church or your temple works.

  • @GraceAlone71 It is the opposite because these return missionaries go around doing good and serving others instead of themselves. The complete opposite of Adam's Road Band.

  • @BornAgainstMormons Again the guys of Adams Road share the gospel of Jesus Christ, they are serving him not themselves. If you have a beef with their message then that's you're problem, there's no need to be inflammatory toward them.

  • @GraceAlone71 Adam's Road serve themselves. Since you seem hell bent on defending them. I am wondering if you know anything about them? Are the band members allowed to live anywhere besides the compound they currently reside in? Does Max consider Micah Wilder a prophet? How many of band members think Micah has a special gift of healing?

  • @BornAgainstMormons Do you have references for your comments? I'm wondering how much you know, or how much you're just going on what members of the Mormon church say about them because they're upset RM's left the Mormon Church to start a band preaching the cross and a relationship with Jesus.

  • @GraceAlone71 "Again the guys of Adams Road share the gospel of Jesus Christ"

You LIE like the devil. These angry rich boys serve their anger. The VERY opposite of the four missionaries mentioned in this video. They mock and ridicule. Much like EVIL has always done! REPENT

  • Although we obviously shouldn't be surprised at it, the church's human side is sometimes jarring and, if permitted, can cause disillusionment. It's urgently important, therefore, for our own sake, that we "clothe (our)selves with the bond of charity, as with a mantle, which is the bond of perfectness and peace" (Doctrine and Covenants 88:125). Failure to do so can be spiritually lethal. . .

  • Church's Missionaries in Japan All Safe and Accounted For

  • Church leaders confirmed this morning that all missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in Japan are safe and accounted for. The Church had been working diligently to make contact with missionaries in Sendai despite difficulty with communication systems and traveling in and around the city. Families and friends of the missionaries in the Sendai area had been anxiously awaiting word that their loved ones were safe.

  • I didn't know the full history of the honor code till I went here. Guess what? The honor code was implemented in the 60s, as a reaction to the dirty long hairs running along the coast. . .

  • @omiolo That would currently exclude Pastor McCraney.

  • There's more to this story than just Brigham Young. All of the church presidents after Joseph Smith had beards until George Albert Smith died in 1951. The reason for the honor code? The counter culture movement of the 60's

  • BYU's rule that its students abstain from alcoholic beverages doesn't bother me considering a number of college students drink alcohol only to get drunk and stupid.

  • The word "booty" has been kicked out of the Bible.

This should not come as a surprise. Words do change meaning over time (the word "gay" comes to mind).

So when the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops called for a new translation of the Old Testament, some words that seemed fine in the 1970s needed to be changed.

  • The suffering of my ancestors is part of what has made my life possible, a life relatively free of suffering. Indeed, had they not suffered, I would not exist. For example, some of my ancestors, like some of O'Donnells, immigrated to the Americas because of their suffering, and they made marriages and families that could not have been without that immigration. .

  • When we talk about our ancestry, we like to talk about the ancestors who came over on the Mayflower, or Charlemagne, or kings and queens, or knights and ladies. We rarely think about the many, more ordinary, people who made our lives possible. Even the suffering of our famous ancestors was likely to have sometimes been great, and the suffering of those who are now mostly unknown was usually greater than that.

  • Watching the Rosie O'Donnell segment of "Who Do You Think You Are?" reminded me of the suffering that we all have in our past. O'Donnell was visibly touched; she said that learning about the suffering of her ancestors changed her life. Anyone who has done genealogy is likely to have had her experience

  • @kensmom33 That burning in your bossom is only heartburn....or maybe mass hypnosis.

  • @crn84106 right, that which incites people to do good is heart burn? Is that really what you have to tell yourself?

  • @kensmom33 These simple truths are so precious.

  • @BornAgainstMormons And how do you "know" the BOM is true? Especially when you have not one clue of archeological evidence, nor even a map? Where is Zarhemla? Joseph Smith couldn't even translate the Egyptian papyrus correctly, yet you trust his credibility about the BOM? That is if the golden plates even existed.... NOT!

  • @cayetanohawaii Didn't you hear? They know where Zarahemla is. It's in the area around Tikrit and Baghdad and east, west, south and north somewhat.
