Why would you even waste your time to say mean things about this place? People always seem to be so down on where they live, but then when people try to make it better, they just rag on them. I have lived in a lot of different places and they are all pretty much boring unless you find a good group of friends. I don't think its fair for people to assume that if they are bored by something, others will be board as well.
try living in brookings, go to brookings for a while then go back to Sioux Falls and it seems like there will never be another bored day in your life.
@vikes2championship Hahahahah---went to SDSU/Brookings for 4 years - from the frying pan into the fire. My advice to you: pack your bags, load your car with gas, and move to California as soon as you possibly can! AKA - GET OUTTA DODGE! Do a Thelma and Louse and save yourself! :-)
FINALLY there are ppl here who make sense. I had to have a life--left Sioux Falls for California, and now live internationally. I would have DIED of BOREDOM if I stayed in that ****hole. This is the 2nd time I've seen a SF site - confirms my decision to leave that horrid place.

Because if there was so much to do, why would one need to seek out videos of Sioux Falls and then take the time to sign in and bitch about it. I am doing a work project, using this as an example, but I just had to take the time to call out those people who are watching this video in their new exciting cities...
@cismdevelopment ....guess you've never reflected in your life honestly and realized that out of horrid environs, one earns the right to "bitch" if he or she has the stamina to survive it. Take Mathew Shepard, for example. My new home-town is London. Consider that for your work project paper. You clearly don't know what its like to experience how bad a place can suck. I look back on rare occasion, at this snippets like these - and thank the Good Lord God for the tremendous changes in life.
i completely agree with the guy below me sioux falls is just desperate to keep more young people from leaving not realizing how boring it is.. a good place to grow up and settle down (kinda) but everything else no its best to go else where,, cant wait to leave

I moved to Los Angeles from SF so that I could actually make something of myself. If you want to be in Banking or Healthcare, it's a great place to live and work. If not, there's no reason for any young person to stay.
It's not the next Minneapolis. It's not Omaha. It's a nice place to settle down and have a family. End of story.

The only worse place I've lived is Vermillion. That place...oh...god...I don't even want to think about it. I think USD invented the phrase "suitcase college".
