  • i live about 50 miles away from the quake ( which was centered 35 miles off the coast of petrolia ca) in mendocino county and i felt this quake as well as the 6.5 a month ago. the first one was definitely longer and felt more, this one was still big though. it shook us up a bit.

  • again??? wow i live in mendo and thats not to far away...

  • xDDD holy shit!!!!

  • Eureka is 280 miles north of san fran. it's 30k population and the biggest city around. the earthquake was 50 miles from eureka. no damages reported that I heard of. I'm living in Oakland but was born and grew up in Eureka :)

  • ????THA HELL

  • I think he had his facts wrong. i just read an article online to confirm, and it says there was an earthquake in Eureka, California (a 6.5) but it was on January 10, 2010

  • Yes it hit in Northern Cali in the Eureka area the same area where the January quake struck.

  • better than them talking about cars for 3 hours. i was stuck watching communist news network for 3 hours while waiting for my car to get serviced, and all they were talking about were toyota recalls. so stupid. but i hope everyone is ok in cali

  • go to usgs...it's on there

  • Off the northern coast is what CNN is saying. Not much known at this point.
