@hellhavmercy Like I said in my other comment, it's a single player game with online components. So the stuff I'm doing in the game is single player stuff, but the multiplayer comes into affect when I do stuff like summon other human players from their worlds to help me with my single player campaign. Does that make sense?

@hellhavmercy I'm not sure what you're asking. It's a PS3 game that has some interesting online functionality but it's a single player experience at its core.

@DDPWINS1 Are you talking about the sorcerer on the second floor of the church? If so, it's really a matter of closing the distance as quickly as possible, and sidestepping his wizard beams.  Once you get close enough, he'll switch to the trident which is extremely slow and easily sidestepped.

@DDPWINS1 I think you are talking about the Titanite Demon. There are 2 ways to handle him. If you are a ranged class your best bet is to stay behind a safe zone in the room and keep popping out and using your spells or strongest arrows against it. It's weakness is fire. If you are a melee class the fight is pretty easy. Toughest part is getting where you need to be but if you can get behind his broken leg you only have to block his jump attacks and his regulars wont hit you.

One thing that I noticed about this game is that even when you execute the knights, they keep coming back unlike other games where the move will have been an instant kill.

@icelerate Yeah, the backstab and parry moves are just critical hits which don't always do one shot kills.

As far as kindling bonfires go, you need to use Humanity from your Humanity counter. Humanity items have to be consumed in order to raise the counter. It's kinda like you said in your earlier videos, having the items in your backpack is great because you never lose it even when you die.

@Sevogajre Oh ok that makes perfect sense now. Totally in keeping with the risk/reward of either keeping the items which won't drop and actually consuming them to perform some kind of function for you but at the risk of dropping it in a soul pile.

@nickplaysvideogames when you come across a blacksmith, start upgrading your small shield to +10 asap. later on you can use a boss soul to make it the best shield in the game, which also doubles as the best weapon in the game. PM me if you wanna know more. great vids

@nickplaysvideogames i dont think it matters, but i did it with the heater shield (since it was my second favorite shield in demons souls i used that) and youll be able to buy all the shards you need to do this either from andrei the blacksmith or a new merchant that gets unlocked a little later in the game.

@snowden421 also if youre in human form you can summon a NPC phantom to help you with pretty much every boss in the game. theyre honestly not very helpful in terms of damage, but they do distract the enemy which can be pretty helpful. and the halberd is AMAZING, especially if you ascend it to "divine" status. it is amazing, and it stops skeletons in later levels from reviving. its my second favorite weapon. hope you dont mind the tips, trying hard not to spoil things for you

@HolyStoneVirgo Same here. That was the first time I was ever on the other end of a parry in this game. I recorded another couple of episodes with a friend, and I got the better of him after a tense, drawn out fight! Should make for a good watch once I get it edited and uploaded.

Also, don't quote me on this, but I think that having more humanity only increases drop rates AFTER you're already become human. But I'm not sure, it's always been true in my experiences.

Note: Summoned / Invading phantoms are unable to interact with your world's NPCs in any way. So, y'know, don't go angering the normal people unless you're well prepared, since it'll always be 1-on-1. By the way, did you pick up the White Soapstone from Solaire? That's the thing you need to be summoned.

@Adamsha49 Yeah I only realized that once it became apparent that my summoned buddy was't able to score any hits on golden armored guy. These are the truly "blind" parts of my let's play ;)
