I seen Eddie Halliwell last night at Goodgreef talltrees and he was absolutly spoton!! However this special effect was just too much and i have seen other build ups that he has done that he took sooo long on the buildup the crowd where coming down before it came in! lol
You're wrong, not ANYBODY can use fx like Halliwell can... Not unless you practise for a few years and by then Eddie will be another few years more advanced than you.
Alot of people slate him because he brought the dreaded scratch to the hard dance scene..
as for eddie and his FX, its really not that hard to do once you master looping and have an FX unit. You say other dj's would do it, well, yeah but imo its more turn table-ism than actually djin. Any dj that even attempts it now really just gets slapped on the "copying eddie band wagon"
Off to see him NYE at godskitchen, and im more bothered about John O'callaghan tbh. Eddie can be hit n miss, and is much more of a dj's dj rather than someone who can be enjoyed by all!

its called EFX machine, thats how he does it and its easy trick to do!!! hes not that specially gifted u know, i used to liek him but i havent learnt most of his trcks and there not that hard to pull off
