  • The "good" group was probably Big Country with their 2 hits.

  • I totally love this...mmmmm....!

  • By "the one good group", Jim must've meant Orange Juice, right?

  • great

  • Scottish accent is just hilarious

  • vive les branleurs

  • i love quoting this

  • hahaha. these two are really funny blokes. they act weird and whatnot, but it just makes them funnier.

  • Putain cool, une interview sous-titrée génial!!! Une autre!

Jim raconte un peu n'importe quoi, et William n'a pas trop l'air concerné par les propos de son frangin

  • grrroooops haha

  • "youv got to look at the good bits and theres not very many of those" nothings changed

  • nothing has changed much pop is still rubbish

  • i like how wills just kind of looking around not saying anything

  • pop is rubbish

  • rubbish....lol

  • I love how Jim is trying to be polite in saying "rubbish" and the French subtitles translate it as "shit" anyway.....

  • Rubbish might not hold negative connotations in French thus they translated it to the closest word holding some negative connotations

  • lol, one of those guys would be alex kapranos. how many sodding bands was he in before eventually finding success?

  • haha i'm in love!

"pop music is always rubbish. it's always 90% rubbish. at the moment it's 99% rubbish. that's what i'm complaining about."

fucking hilarious. i love these guys.

    "who was the good group?"

    "dunno."

    gold :)

  • haha just the earnest, matter-of-fact way he said "dunno" after all he said before it cracks me up. funny blokes.

  • The Punk Iced Lollies would of been an awsesome name!!!

  • haha....i love his comments about glasgow's music scene being "8 people who start a band who sound the same as the last one which flops then start another one that sound the same as the last one". basically exactly the same today, except now it's 800 people

  • I fucking love this. Their arrogance makes me laugh all the way through. Aside from their gloating, I love them and Psychocandy in particular. GREAT upload.

  • Many thanks for uploading this! It's from Rockline, a program that was aired once a month, late saturday night. Makes me remember why I became a Jesus and Mary Chain fan: because they made great records and because they were clever, strong-minded, independent, uncompromising... certainly not because they'd allegedly trash gardens before TOTP. Cheers.

  • "pop music is always rubbish"

    ctm, LOL.
