@pomeroy600287 your battery probably didn't have a sufficient charge. while i like parkzone planes a lot, the chargers they come with are absolute garbage
@minus37 haha lol i curently hae a plane that i modified a cessna 172 instedad of electric its gas engine. ie been doing a siimulator 4 that plane doing real gud on ther i just need to do better landings lol
Money can buy that easily, well for about £100, but I'll tell you what it probably can't buy...
Third ever flight with a RC plane (Parkzone Spitfire), hand launched, flew for about 30 feet, engine cuts out, dives, I pull up, engine cuts back in again, the plane (no landing gear, meant for belly-landings) actually HITS the ground, bounces, takes off again, pulls up, engine cuts out AGAIN, dive bombs the cameraman, and the engine cuts back in again and it flies off.
dude i have a plain with that and you couldve just practiced with the simulator its a program on the computer u practice with the plain its the exact same as flying it
@Bribickhed6 Yo man, I know I should have started off with a sim. hahaha, but this plane didn't come with one, and it didn't help that it was my first. I know its a no-brainer to fly, but I'm not very good at this apparently :P
@calmatosport Yes, it was a bad throw, I admit, I actually tried to hand launch it without even trying anything out on a simulator. Good lesson learnt!
3)BTW: Do not get used of taking-off with Cessna from hand because you will have to land as soon as battery pack gets discharged and you'll be unable to catch it by hand :-) You can remove wheel cover and replace original wheels by bigger ones. This significantly improves taxiing on gras airfield.
You can see flying with my Cessna, even the engine was brand new (having not enough power yet) it was possible to take-off even on stall speed. But I had to replace original wheels by bigger ones.

@pomeroy600287 Cut out as in user initiated or electronics? Sounds good, catch that again on video and bump me in!

@minus37
Ah-ha! that's where I'm ahead of the game!
I DID get it on video!!!!
(and it was electronic failure!)
You can see that episode about halfway through my video entitled: 'Spitfire Crash'
That plane has been plagued with electronic failures, the last of which caused a 50 foot dive straight down.

@canadianmaple09 Yes it was a bad throw, hahaha. We all start learning from somewhere yea? This was where I started off. :P
Cheers mate!

this model is way underpowered! it is a bitch to get it to launch on gear and even hand launched it is 50/50 for it to fly.
elroto 3 years ago
there is also a 50/50 chance your pushing the elivator stick the right way ;)
I flew the same plane, it doesnt have much power, bur certainly enough to hand start

don t say shit.....you just overcharge its battery, and it has become weak now!this plane has almost 1/1 thrust to weight ratio!

@frizstyler Not quite, the battery was new out of its wrapper and charged just once.

Did you push the right stick for the elevators forwards by any chance?

not the best way to learn alone. :\

You can belly land it, I did today and there was no damage, I found landng with the gear was harder
