  • I think Muse are great, but they need to write more songs that are TIMELESS and crossover to EVERY GENRE, before they can be compared to legendary giants like U2.

  • I was pissed off for a couple of weeks, when I heard that Muse opened a show for U2. Here in Europe Muse gives sold out monster shows on their own, and bloody rightfully so. Matt is just a musical genius. Whatever this man touches, turns to gold. But hey, dont meen to argue ´bout whos the biggest. U2 is BIGG as well, I know I know.. I went about 5 times to U2, and only once to Muse yet. If I had the choice now it would be MUSE MUSE MUSE ♥♥♥

  • hi..im from Malaysia..how do you not know this group? they are very popular in Europe, Asia...!!

  • That's why I didn't pay to get in. Stood outside and got the same sound quality for free :) Great night :P

  • Muse can definitely hold their own in-concert. They can pack 'em in just like any other awesome band.

  • somehow u2 knew if they muse had played their exogenesis symp they would of out play them ask for muse back to the stage

  • crowd was bad those who were their, sound in section 416 was terrible for both acts.

i'll see Muse when they return

  • I think sound quality depended on where you were sitting. I thought it was good, but I was down on the floor.

  • Crowd sucked, people behind us were a holes asking us to sit down at a freaking concert, & this is who I went to see. I saw Muse at Nokia in 2007 and it was unbelievable!! Can't wait till they come back & headline on their own!! I didnt sit down either, no way I was going to waste my money for some jerks who didn't want to have fun!!

  • This show had 2 huge minuses concerning the crowd:

1: This is the Dallas area so the "beautiful people" came out in droves to see and be seen & to sit on their hands.

2: Because U2 has been around forever, we have 50 year old ("beautiful")grandparents coming out. They are there to sit throughout the show and be entertained and occasionally applaude. I'm 44 and I stood & screamed just like I did in 1987 and felt like I was being a nuisanse. The sound sucked too.

  • Yeah I've heard the sound in there is not well distributed.

DUDE, that was the main reason I didn't want to spend the money to go to that concert: those "beautiful people" you speak of.

I like U2, but not enough to sit around with those people and feel uncomfortable the entire time.

Muse needs to come by itself. Then I will sell my arm if I have to to get into the show!

BTW, PROPS to ya for having a blast, like you should!

  • @menudoconpata I was in the 300 section and at 40 years old as a U2 vet of the joshua tree fort worth second show still felt the emotion of U2's sound in a fucking football stadium...

  • DUDE I WAS THERE TOO MUSE WAS AWESOME

  • I was there! MUSE is my very favorite i wish they could of played more! It was an awesome opening for U2 i hope they will become popular enough to host their own concert at the stadium someday!

  • i was there it was awsome there coming next year cant wait i was on the floor very close

  • I was there!! Best night of my life!!!!

  • Loved their set! Dom, Chris and Matthew are freakin' AWESOME! I screamed so much!

  • So awesome to see their genius live last night. However the sound SUCKS at the new stadium .

  • the crowds dead.

  • Crowd seemed to give them a better response than any of the previous shows I've seen videos of.

  • what i've seen i think tampa was the best crowd.

  • At this show...about 80% of the people were there for U2...all the people around us had never heard of Muse...I think we were the youngest people in our section

  • give it a couple of years they will be selling out stadiums in the USA.

  • Like they do in the rest of the world.... ;-)

  • yeah.

  • U2 is probably the only band in the world that could be considered a headliner with Muse as the opener. These guys are simply amazing. It's too bad that not many people in the US know who they are yet.

  • Best Freaking Concert I've ever seen. That was amazing. Surprised the video is up already though....
