Soooo - I was wearing a pair of sandals on the day of this quake. Fast forward to Easter Sunday April 4th - I'm visiting southern California and a 7.2 hits Mexico and takes 7 minutes to travel to Long Beach where I am standing...IN THE SAME SANDALS FROM JANUARY!!!!!

Bet that was scary as hell. I live in Nevada and we get a lot of small tremors, and once in a while larger quakes, although nothing too dramatic. All I gotta say is it's nervewrecking and my first reaction is always to run out the door - lol!

Haha, you did the same thing as I did at my house, tying all the cupboards shut! Theres only a few things left on the flat surfaces of my house. Pretty much everything was thrown off, including me out of my bed! o.o

Wow, i give u a credit for videotape the aftermath of quake. I live in Los Angeles and i experience the bad quake in northridge of 1994 (6.8). This one is very powerful and last for 30 seconds. Can u believe this? This earthquake struck in 1994 happen at 433am in the morning. Now, i look at your title " @ 433pm". I was like "Oh man". Anyway, keep it up and thanks for upload the video.

I, too, was in Los Angeles for the '94 quake and this was intense! This quake packed more of a violent punch while the '94 quake seemed to last and eternity! The time was incorrect - it struck at 4:27 in the afternoon. Maybe that was my psyche taking control! Thanks for the concern.

I love my flip! Not only do I recommend I'm gonna buy a second one - the HD model (this one's a mino). No moving parts (that I know of), no extra light and it works pretty good in all settings. The sound quality is great as well. Check out the other videos and you decide for yourself...
