(It's amazing how she doesn't have an accent at all!!)

  • La classe

  • If I didn't know Jodie was an American, I would have easily mistaken her for a French person. I suppose that's what studying in a French prep school, and living and breathing French all your life from a very young age does to you..... Go Jodie <3

  • Could you add English subtitles, please?

  • .....I LOOOOOOOVE YOUUUUUUU.............!!!!!!

  • hahaha its cool how she trys to explain the guitar hero! lol! i love french <3 i love learning it and its a truly beautiful language

  • @CherCow92

lol, yeeess!, that's so funny "you see there's blue, red, yellow, you follow it.......and it's metal!!!!!!"lol!!!

  • Jodie Foster is adorable

  • I loooove the french language. I'm currently learning it and still suck, but anyway......i am madly in love with the language......tres belle

  • Bon courage. :)

  • I think the other way around: while I'm a speaker of French, I find American English to be the most beautiful language in the world. And I still feel frustration at not knowing it as much as native speakers do.

  • I have a feeling that you are one of very few people who feel that way, but thank you

  • Wow I am not french but I love french films and watch them constantly, it sounds like her french is dead on. It's the best french I've heard an American speak.

  • @Tigerlily21 Her french accent is perfect, i'm french and i can confirm.. She's the only american actress/actor who dub herself in her movies for the french version... The only thing you can notice is that sometimes she doesn't use the right expression for something she wants to espress and also sometimes words don't come as easily as if she was french, She's a great actress.

  • @Tigerlily21 Yes, I am french and I can tell you that it's almost impossible to notice the minest foreigner accent, she speaks perfectly!

  • -sucks I can't understand anything lol

  • j'adore trop Jodie Foster !!

  • @kyliefarmer

Didn't she say, "des choses affreux" also?

Her supreme confidence gets her through!

Check out (on Youtube) Mick Jagger giving an interview in French

    on Altamont. Salut!

  • AhAhah! Guitar Hero!

  • I can(t stop imagine Jodie playing Guitar Hero...XD

  • Wow, i didn't know Jodie Foster speaks french! She's great, i love her! ;-)

Wait and see...

  • J'approuve totalement :)

  • Smouick, Jodie !

  • Je l'adore Jodie !!!

  • @Bianca62219 moi aussi je l'adore!! :)

  • Elle parler mieux français que moi !!! ;) J'adore cette femme...

  • what is jodie saying

  • This is a little quizz.

She's speaking about her first childhood recollection, wich is her first commercial ( she was 3 years old).

She also tell about a repeating nightmare, she is a vampire and with her "crew" she makes a lot of very bad things, so when she wakes up she feel really guilty.

I can't translate all the interveiw, and excuse me for the mistakes, I'm just a frenchy.

  • Her first childhood memory was her first advert when she was three, advertising'coppertone'.

She says that her first 'cinema shock' was 'the deerhunter, and that it shocked her, made her nervous, stimulated her, and changed her life.

Then she talks about her reoccuring vampire/criminal nightmare, and how after having done those terrible things they do normal things like eat, drink and go to the cinema.

The likes exercise where you focus, and she hates shopping.

  • She last time she was angry was when her eldest son was on the phone to her and he wouldn't stop annoying her, she asked him to leave her alone for five minutes, but he just stayed put.

She has had a friend for 30years who lives in paris, who makes her laugh like mad.

Sings 'hey big spender' when showering.

Her favourite 'idiotic past time' is Guitar Hero... which she explains to the interviewer.

    She likes French music.

She has no idea what is to come regarding films in the future.

  • Thats the basic gist anyway I think!
