He'll probably get a reprimand or lose his job. However, the use of tasers is not "bang bang bang" as you would think it is. It's non-lethal. The idea is to bring him down through whatever means so that he can work the problem out in a psyche ward for a couple days... with DOCTORS, not cops.

The police are just custodians. The only thing they can use in these situations is good timing and varying uses of force. So if you want to get rid of the taser, invent a safer immobilizing weapon or shut the fuck up.
