@self49 if I may try to answer: I think it's about a love intrest. A love intrest that isn't quite lost, but isn't quite there either. An intrest that the speaker hopes to get by telling them that their own personal hell is living without the love intrest. That's what I get out of it but of course that's the beauty of music; you can get a multitude of meanings from a song that seemingly has but one meaning
