  • Very informative but you might want to use windows movie maker next time so we don't have to watch you fumble with the batteries and such. Very easy and very free video editing software, usually comes with all PCs.

  • @gudsine Well I will consider that, but for now just shut the fuck up and watch the video.

  • @zepplin758 you are just a barrel of sunshine and pixi farts aren't you!

  • Can it really see through clothes, I heard that Infrared Radiation lenses can allow you to see through clothes because of the infra light passes through black cloth and reflects lights on skin back at the lens. I am smart about technology.

  • @DragonX7777 Its like an X-ray, it can reveal underwear by using Infared Radiation lens along with sensitive IR Cameras.

  • some bullshit!

  • @norwennorwen Invalid argument. Try phrasing a complete sentence that makes sense.

  • I'ma go try this :)

  • hi...great job.... Recently I tried to remove the IR filter of a sony cybershot w510... I couldn't find the IR filter and seems they have glued it to the CCD itself. Ended up with a not working camera because one time I couldn't tight the lens assemble properly and the shutter's gear teeth got grind up... :-( I noticed that you are using an LG and seems its pretty much easy to do it.... can you please tell me the model of that cam? Thanks...Keep it up... :-)

  • @dushan996 Thank you! It's actually not an LG rather a cheap Wal-Mart brand camera. I forget the exact name though. The cheap ones are usually a sure thing because they are simplistic inside as compared to a Sony Cybershot. Even if you ruin the camera you're not out of a whole lot of money. So go buy a cheap camera lol

  • OMG your an ass. Try not using a black light and say it is a IR. A IR looks red when on and pointed at the open eye dumb ass. Go back to taking orders at the drive through..

  • @E6L713 Well you're just about as dumb as they come. Notice how the light is pointed at a camera not a fucking human eye. It's going to be different on video than what you would actually perceive. Why don't you educate yourself before you make moronic and offensive comments. McDonald's is calling your name for an interview, and I suggest to get the job that suits your level of intelligence. Have a nice day.

  • this video would have been 1min had he been asian.

  • Nice vid. No thanks to the camera in question! Thing was falling apart faster than you could put it back together, LOL!

  • I was able to use your video to remove the anti-IR filter from my ColorPix Handheld Digital Video Camera today. I'd bought an IR light source but the damn camera wasn't seeing the flood of the light! Thanks so much!!!!

  • but il show you some pictures in action ... video stops

  • Good Video and demonstration, but is better to mod a bridge camera or too much better a reflex camera for the times set.

  • thanks

  • SAVE ENERGY

    play in the dark

  • Why is this video caused so much controversy? I think this might be the start of WWIII! Good Vid Modified me old Kodak into IR camera for fun, take it out tomora

  • At least he's doing somethin not sittin on his ass takin the piss out of people, Twats. i like yo shirt thanks for showin us this vid.

  • This is what Video Editing is for... sorry most of the time was u putting back together

  • nomas eche a perder mi camara es pura mentira metetelo x el culo

  • o yea, he is real "careful" while taking the ir filter off

  • I like the way parts drop out and you just ignore them.

You must be very educimated! Have you secured a job

as a camera repairman yet? Yuck Yuck!

  • aahhh si hablas espanol inutil ja,ja,ja

  • estas pero si bien pendejo ja,ja,ja,ja

  • @juanma1271 tu madre es una puta

  • Comment removed

  • I removed the filter , and it really worked!!

    THANK YOU!!!

  • cool cam GAY jajajajaja

  • @AB2345100 thanks DICK

  • @zepplin758 jajajaja but thanks i made it an its cool

  • Does this work for all modern digital cameras?

  • There's nothing wrong with this video. Sometimes I just don't understand what's wrong with people.

  • Think you need to go back to the drawing board and not waste peoples' time!

  • @45DidDid think you need to go back and rethink why you're on youtube in the first place

  • thanks for this tutorial dude

  • What is the camera. It looks much the same as I use for my timelapse.

  • If you would have touched the capacitor, it would have atleast made up for half of the 9 1/2 mins of my life I'll never get back. Also, announcing it was for a speech class...kinda shoots yourself in the other foot.

  • @5v1i5v0 fuck you nobody held a gun to your head and made you watch the video.

  • @zepplin758 Damn straight.

  • @zepplin758 I would like this comment, but for some reason my mac doesn't seem to allow me to thumbs up anything.

  • Just by removing the IR filter, and BAM! it works?? Bloody amazing!

  • Radars detect orgone energy, and it is also detectable with infrared film, according to Trevor James Constable´s book, The Cosmic Pulse of Life. Could you please record or photograph an orgonite piece with one of these modified cameras?

  • it happened to me too i was taking apart an old disposable camera touches the capaciter and got the shit shocked out of me

  • play in the dark!

  • well, i didnt noticed any difference, the torch you showed glowed in the beginneing and in the end as well, then what did the camera showed????

maybe the camera used to recored this video was also capable of seeing IR lights, wahtever, improvement is needed

  • infra red cam +IR light =night cam and u can use them in watching animals secreatly

but i think all digital cam w night vision option

so it ll be helpful in web cam more

    but thanks for ur effort

but plz the cam looks expensive so take more care

  • and does cam shoots normaly in day vision? or its permanently changed to IR or night vision cam? e mean that it takes pics just like before removing the IR filter? do rply.........

  • @5203480 it would permanently take pictures like that until you put the ir filter back on

  • Is there anything else you could use instead of film? Like anything in the average household?

  • it happens to ones too, i got shocked by the capacitor of our digital camera and i was where did that came from! and i was like an ignorant person XD .

  • i don't know what you are doing beside i didn't see any chnages only i notice that you have fail to show us about what you meantioned so called digital camera see infrared light

  • @paopaowellwell well it is apparent that you paid no attention whatsoever to the video. the video is meant for anyone who wants insight on how to perform cool photography tricks using infrared light. you should research the above topics (i.e. infrared light, CCD, light filter, etc..) just because you cant comprehend what is mentioned dosent mean the video fails to do its job

  • @zepplin758

Why are you being so haughty, I liked your vid I think it was cool, but who cares if I liked it or not. Is everyone like this on you tube?

  • You got that camera from your lil sis? Draw a pedo bear on the lens ;P

  • Finally done this and works great!!=D thanks dude.

  • Comment removed

  • @larosh12 howabout you stop spamming my video comments and go fuck yourself. heres a link: fuckoff.youassho.le

  • Super easy demonstration. can't wait to try it!

  • Hi can i use almost any digital camera to do this?? answers please rly fast:D!

  • @jermujorma yea any digital camera will work as long as you can take it apart without ruining any of the components.

  • @zepplin758 Does it give you nightvision in videos or just pictures?

  • every turn, something falls off

  • @KagudoyProductions well i was disassembling the camera

  • What film are using for the replacement?

  • @TeamPhenomenon developed color film with no image on it. buy a roll of color film and have it developed without taking any pictures.

  • pieces dropped everywhere

  • edit edit edit edit edit edit edit edit edit edit edit edit edit edit

  • @PlanetXwormwood ooooh u got owned!

  • @PlanetXwormwood na i got it from your mom

  • Nice video.

  • 4.44 fail lol

  • hello,

I want to make a video (art project at school) about a camera, how it's build, etc. so I need to know, what is put into it first, the lenses, the little chips, etc.

    hope you can help me

  • @Niky6459 usually the lens is put onto the mainboard along with the lcd screen. then the components are placed in the camera housing. its simple from an assembly standpoint.

  • Will doing this mess anything up on the camera?

  • @HepCcola you could potentially mess something up if your not careful. always document the order in which you disassemble the camera so everything goes back together right.

  • Your camera is so much more simple than mine... I was taking it apart and found your video to get instruction on what to do... I pretty much ruined it just trying to get to the lens. lol

  • @mondays89 lol yea you have to be careful, you never know what kind of internals a camera will have

  • where did you get the IR flashlight

  • @lrx90 dealextreme com

  • what if u put 3 film cutouts? even better? or not enough light? just curious

  • @Argo108 3 should be fine but its redundant really.

  • super gentle I see, like the precision of Michael J. Fox doing a labotomy

  • love how your cameras falling apart through the whole thing.

  • @wefreak37 well i was disassembling it

  • @zepplin758 parts were just falling out. anyway, i thought it was entertaining.

  • @wefreak37 yea i was nervous during that speech and i was shaking a little bit so some parts didnt seem to want to stay in

  • what kind of camera is that?

  • My cousin got shocked because he touched the terminals. He was all white and he passed out and had to go to the hospital. He turned out ok

  • @JeremieTUT so he took it apart with the batteries in it. :/ unlikley

  • Thumbs up if you immediately thought that he's using his sister's camera for this experiment.

  • thanks dude this is helpful for me

  • @PapiSmerf haha my first thought was uhm....pink?

  • where'd you get the infrared flashlight??

  • @box0choklitz i picked up an infrared light board of ebay for $5 it lights up a room easy its got 36 infrared leds and it just needs a 9v battery just type in infrared board on ebay

  • @luther303 ok thanks! ^.^

  • @luther303 oh btw, i don't know how i would install it -_-*

  • @box0choklitz its easy when you get it it will have 2 metal things coming out of the back marked possitive and negative just connect 2 wires to those then connect the wires to the 9v its hard to find a good place to stick the board i just glued mine in a spray can lid

  • @luther303 thank you!! :D

  • im gonna purchase a 2nd hand camera.. will this definitely work with any kind of digital camera??

  • can i make IR goggles with 2 IR cameras, swim goggles and IR lights

  • @demondrive9 you can try

  • I can't take my video camera apart though...the harddrive compartment won't come off

  • @bakonfreek idk there might be a clip or something that needs to be popped off. if i were you i would use a less expensive camera. a video camera with an hdd is one that i wouldn't want to risk ruining lol

  • @zepplin758 aw fine then, but the VCR compartment wont come off the $25 one

  • @bakonfreek yea idk some have hidden screws or are glued in places.

  • Do you use a developed or undeveloped film for that home-made filter?

  • @rudolft developed color film. but the film has to be developed without an image on it.

  • @zepplin758 how would i get one of those?( a color developed film) sorry not much of a technician myself but im trying to learn.

  • @MrNarcko take an unused roll of color film and get it developed at rite-aid or walmart. ask for just negatives no pictures

  • your hand is prety shaking..

    :)

did you nerveous at the making?

    btw, nice one!

  • @gemahutama thanks. yea it was in my speech class in front of like 30 ppl so i was a little nervous lol

  • dose it really work

  • @19anan97 yep

  • @modfest1966 your mom fails

  • What kind of camera is it ? How much was it ?

  • What kind of camera was it. How much was it ?

  • what is the floppy disk for

  • what kinda camera is that?

  • niiiice thanks for the idea,plus...sticking a piece of filme over the lens you can see thu clothes now!but i didn't know any camera culd hve night vision, thanks i'll do this with y webcam!

  • your awesome man, thanks i kid ever one not this real works!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you need to introduce what you are talking about at the beginning of the video

  • ok so say my camera doesnt see infrared light, is there some sort of lens i can put on it to let it see? cause i dont wanna take apart my camera.

  • @TheNoNameUsername yea get a pipe end that fits over your camera lens, cut the end part off and put the filter at the end. you now have a filter. you will need a good sunny day tho for it to work.

  • @zepplin758 oh ok so say i get a IR filter that fits my camera, would my camera than be able see something like an infrared flashlight?

  • did you make that flashlight or can you buy it somewhere?

  • @yoshimura2500 you can buy them online pretty cheap

  • @zepplin758 dealextreme i think was the site

  • i was laughing cuss that was falling apart on from the start

  • Your camera is like exactly the same as my digital camera

  • i have been shocked before. not a pleasant feeling. lol

  • @zepplin758 y was it pink jk but can you do this with oter cameras and camcorders?

  • @3201987645321 yea as long as its has a ccd. just exercise caution when opening it, you could potentially damage the camera.

  • believe it or not, the 2 aa or aaa batteries have enough juice to charge up the capacitor slowly enough to that 330v charge ;)

GO AHEAD....stick it in your mouth and youll get a nice little zap like the square 9v batteries ;) but tinglier lol hahahahahahah

  • How the world are you going to get shocked when theres not batterys in it.

  • The flash uses a capacitor to store electricity. The capacitor is charged in the camera from the batteries and then releases the charge when the flash fires. If you don't short capacitors before you remove them from a board, the stored electricity can shock you if you bump it. What he said is correct.

  • yes i can vouch for that
