I'm not pro-life nor support the death penalty. BUT I'd say those aren't necessarily conflicting beliefs.

Those that are for the death penalty support capital punishment because those on death row are supposedly guilty for killing someone or mulitiple people. The same cannot be said about unborn babies. Unborn babies surely haven't killed anyone so there's no inconsistency there.

True, those who are wrongfully convicted haven't killed the people they are in jail for, but people who believe in the death penalty wouldn't want the wrongfully accused killed. They aren't supporting the killing of innocent people and therefore aren't being inconsistent when going against killing innocent babies

The fact that people are on death row despite their innocence may be a reason to rid the death penalty but killing innocent people isn't their basis for supporting the death penalty.
