its actualy reasonalby easy to get into the game since even expert old players wont use the absolute best equipment due to the high costs and you lose your ship/equipment when you die, as long as you know that even a low sp player can catch an expierienced player off guard and win.

it's very hard. It's the game with the deepest learning curve I've ever played. Compete with what precisely? If you want to pvp fairly, I believe some months, having someone guiding you. If you're talking about the tournament, forget it. It's like thinking about purchasing a Ferrari the first day of work. Bye :-)

you use orbit and approach commands on objects you want to fly around. You can double click in space to move in straight lines but thats as close to manual control you get. Dont let that turn you off though. The game is great and dogfights are still fast paced and tactical.

yeah. further, the way you control smaller ships differs somewhat from how you control larger ships. you'll be doing a lot more manual piloting with faster ships, whereas with the larger ships, like moroses, you'll generally plop yourself down and open up. there are a ton of manual piloting tactics that can make or break combat

When the Firetail is attacking the Nighthawk, why does he keep bumping him?

I've seen a few PvP videos where there's bumping going on, why do they need to bump the target If the target isn't near a gate or station and is webbed in a Safespot or planet. They shouldn't need to...

those were smart bombs....i think that is what you were looking at.

they just pulse out of the ship as a huge explosion damaging everything within the blast radius.

sensor boosters. they make it so that dampeners and tracking disruptors either fail or are not as effective. they also can increase the target range and targeting time.

the ones that look similar but are in a funnel shape is either a sensor dampener or a tracking disruptor...it could be something else but i think i covered them....ionno...im tired, lol

wait did they say the Abaddon doesnt get any bonuses for nrg turrets, and that it gains a 7.5 bonus to armor repper? did this come in a patch or somthing cause i though it had a 5% large nrg turret dmg and 5% dmg resist per level?
