@lovebeauty191 Have you tried using a dry shampoo to suck up some of the excess oil? Are you using any smoothing/straightening/antifr­izz/hydrating shampoo/conditioners? All of those will just amplify the oil- also make sure when you use your conditioner, only apply it to the ends. Don't put any serums/ or creams anything like that on your scalp.

something that works really well for me, when i'm trying to loosen up my curls a bit.. is to add some gel-cream twist (sunsilk product) and i just kind of run it through my hair in a downward motion gently... then do a little bit of scrunching--- it helps to make the style last longer and it also helps relax the curl a bit and weigh it down slightly!

@radnad19 Yes they are, that's why I am able to use heat on them. If you try to use heat on synthetic hair it will melt :)
