I am a registered Democrat but i must say that Ron Paul to my ears sounds like a true champion of the people. Republicans have the best possible candidate in Ron Paul as he is absolutely brilliant, so why all the adoration of fruit cakes like Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, etc?
My greatest disappointment with Obama was his appointment of Timothy Geithner as Treasury Secretary whom then did rob the American people for the benefit of his friends on Wall Street.

The Constitution is the law of the land and no where in the Constitution does it authorize Congress to the power to delegate or empower another entity the power to issue coin/dollars and regulate the value thereof. The Federal Reserve act is not constitutional because Congress no longer has the power to coin money and regulate the value thereof. The 9th and 10th amendments prohibit the federal government from doing anything not specifically authorized in the Constitution. End of story.
Maybe the constitution isn't right though. What it seems like to me is if the federal reserve didn't provide the money to bring these banks out of debt surmounting up to certain bankruptcy, it would've made the economy considerably worse than what has been happening so far. Nonethless, I still understand suspicion in how quick Bernanke wanted the congress to pass the bill and all the conflicts of interests involved in the deal.

If you really believe that, you seriously lack knowledge in economics. Price support for one sector results in depression in another. You can't just arbitrarily set prices in the market without causing problems.

I am a registered Democrat but i must say that Ron Paul to my ears sounds like a true champion of the people. Republicans have the best possible candidate in Ron Paul as he is absolutely brilliant, so why all the adoration of fruit cakes like Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, etc?
My greatest disappointment with Obama was his appointment of Timothy Geithner as Treasury Secretary whom then did rob the American people for the benefit of his friends on Wall Street.

Paul is frustrated; he has been saying the same thing for over 30 years, and he has turned out to be right for over 30 years. If you listen closely to Bernanke's answers, he never even answered the question to contradict Paul. He just repeated the history Paul stated. And what interruption? It was a clarification of what exactly the Constitution says, which is for Congress to COIN money, not print paper money

The Constitution is the law of the land and no where in the Constitution does it authorize Congress to the power to delegate or empower another entity the power to issue coin/dollars and regulate the value thereof. The Federal Reserve act is not constitutional because Congress no longer has the power to coin money and regulate the value thereof. The 9th and 10th amendments prohibit the federal government from doing anything not specifically authorized in the Constitution. End of story.

Maybe the constitution isn't right though. What it seems like to me is if the federal reserve didn't provide the money to bring these banks out of debt surmounting up to certain bankruptcy, it would've made the economy considerably worse than what has been happening so far. Nonethless, I still understand suspicion in how quick Bernanke wanted the congress to pass the bill and all the conflicts of interests involved in the deal.

If you really believe that, you seriously lack knowledge in economics. Price support for one sector results in depression in another. You can't just arbitrarily set prices in the market without causing problems.
