Unfortunately we got mixed up in the middle east by the TRUMAN admisistration, and also Israel we do not need these wars. In short the USA needs to take care of its own people and stop policing the world.
Sadly it was an Eisenhower administration that helped orchestrate the overthrow of Iran's democratically elected President, who was replaced by the Shah. It's was done at the behest of oil companies who did not prefer Iran to nationalize it's oil production.
