  • hungary once got their name on world football.. gunnar gren, nils liedholm abd gunnar nordahl are the name known in history

  • yeah.. nordahl is great striker.. laudrup is nothing compared to him..

  • Sampdoria form now the same :)

  • hey my last name is Nordahl :P

  • Who is Batistuta?

  • @mrstrooke YO MOMA.... THE BEST SCORER OF THE FIORENTINA

  • @blacktoise0709 Nordahl owns him...

  • Il Bisonte!!

  • I cant understand why Nordahl isn't on the fifa 100 list!

  • this is without a doubt the biggest scandinavian footballer of all time, Michael Laudrup was great but Nordahl is insane, he's goalscoring record places him among the top 5 european strikers of all time in my book. Love from Norway

  • @MrShellschock But Laudrup was a midfielder and he would usually pass the ball so that someone else could score.

  • @MrShellschock Michael Laudrup is number one with Gunnar Nordahl good second IMO. This is coming from a swede. Can't deny Laudrups genius.

  • Il Cannoniere!

  • Those goals were horrible and to simplistic. And the camera were no were near the ball movement. The game was just to slow for my taste. Good picture in all cases but nothing I would watch again. But still he was player well appreciated by milanistas.

  • This guy must of been an animal. What an incredible strike rate he had, and to mention football was harder in those days as well. AC Milan have had some superstar players in their history!

  • all goals scored in the box.. i know he is a former great and all but this would never be allowed nowadays, also the keeping is horrible..

  • @SKM6700 LoL what about ruud van nistelrooy? ever seen him score outside the box? duuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh DUUUUUHHHH

  • @Trollhumak troll please.. understand or dont even write

  • Legend

  • @seanreillyireland Yes?? ;-D I was going to send you this vid & then I saw that you had already posted here, mate. Someone the other day told me that Nordahl was "just a goal-hanger": I nearly fell off my stool laughing.

  • who is number 8?

  • @delkhairio

i believe that is Nils Liedholm.

He was also Swedish and formed the famous attacking trio for Milan known as "Gre-No-Li" along with Gunnar Nordalh and Gunnar Gren.

  • @artisdying

No I was not talking about Gunnar Nordahl, he wears number 9 shirt. some guy was asking who wears the shirt with the number 8 and i think he is Nils

  • @jayr101 I'm sorry mate, I realized it whilst it was posting the comment. gonna delete it, doesn't make sense now, does it. sorry again.

  • @jayr101 Number 8 is Gunnar Gren

  • @delkhairio Gunnar Gren, another third of the legendary swedes in Milan "Gre-No-Li"

  • You know what?

He is my great great uncle !

  • @exige666 k go out aND PLAY FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!

  • Probably more than van Basten!!!

  • Well, to be honest I have absolutely no idea of whether he was a good player or not, but statistics rarely lie. So, judged on his statistics, I would actually call him one of the best football players ever, if not the best.

  • Milan!!

  • Why isnt he as famous as Maradona and Pele? he had 33 matches for the Swe national team ( not the best national team in the world/ I am swe so I like swe ofc).. anyway on 33 matches he scored 43 goals.. for a swe team he had 95 matches, 93 goals.. :P sick

  • Because although he was one of the best strikers ever, he didn't revolutionize the game like Maradona, Pele, Di Stefano, Cruyff and Beckenbauer...they were all time greats who were leaders of their teams, players who made the difference, lead their teams to great trophies and were by far ahead of their time. Although, I am a Milanista myself, and I sure as hell would like for Milan to have a striker like that again :). Silvio Piola has 49 goals more than him in serie A, and 250 games more xD.

  • @Thunderer7 thats not the point: the fact is on fame scales Pele, Bobby Charlton etc are THOUSANDS of times more famous than men like Nordahl, Peter Doherty, Ivor Allchurch... that isn't right.

  • @alexan1107 Sweden is like Netherlands and Portugal. All three countries would have easily had a world cup to their name if they didn't suffer from small populations. Sure population doesn't mean everything, but it does mean a whole lot when your country is a very small fraction of the rest of the competition.

  • great bomber...but goal keepers were a lot less good in there years, without gloves too

  • @Confusememory no gloves huh? how come i can see gloves on the keepers then?

  • One of the greatest videos I've ever seen on youtube. Definitely the best footage I've ever seen on Gunnar Nordahl, great clear footage of a true legend. Forza Milan! Thanks for posting this.

  • i gave you five star u owe me mann

  • cool vid
