  • No clearwire is not alright, THEY CAN GO FUCK THEMSELVES and their THROTTLING ASSES!

  • i have clearwire and it goes6mbs to 14mbs wtf r u noobs talking about 1.5mbs thats connection for the cheap users

  • @jerpengame123 alot has changed with clear over the years now

  • @jerpengame123 This is ClearWire, you're using Clear, so who is the noob here?

  • @YoutuJ3eJ3lows they're really close to the same thing, however, how about comparing the different ripoff prices, really, i can get the higher average "money per megabyte per second" on comcast, hell even quest, and they aren't that so good with good cheap internet.

  • Lmao clearwire=crap but clear=awesomeness

  • Unless you all are mistaken, ClearWIRE is the 3g connection (NOT FOR HOME USE!) Clear is 4g.. So yea if you have ClearWIRE, yea they obviously make home modems but who in their right mind would want to have a 3G HOME CONNECTION!!! Thats just stupid, and then everyone blames clearwire for that!

  • fuck clearwire sometimes while i play xbox live i actually have good games but then out of no where epic lagggg

  • Clearwire = Epic Fail.

  • I need to switch back to comcast. I came before the porn loaded...

  • Same here! I'm sick of that happening. To top it all off: Almost every game I play on my PS3 disconnects.... I never thought I'd miss money hungry Comcast.

  • Haha yeah, went with att for now, paying 29 a month for a whole year for 16mb/s

  • Can't even get at&t in my area... All I can get is Comcast and Clearslowmotionpornwire.

  • @BrownBootyBruno LMFAO

  • The only problem with Clearwire is that it exists.

I hope something crashes into it. I might get a better connection afterward.

  • Ahaha!!

  • Clear wire is great if you live in the right area ask a rep to show you a coverage map via google maps they have them also the 6mb service with full signal usally avg 5-7mbs and to quote there contracts its a 2year $120 cancel but its prorated and drops $5 a month! so not that bad also considering theres a 7day test period money back.

  • @brianharrison06, the only issue w/ Clearwire is that you do have to have a credit card on file with them and don't hand them a debit card. Other than that the service is legit and you do your business on the web site and pay your bill etc. etc. Had my modem for a couple of months now. Working fine. Don't know if it was a good ideal leasing the equipment but in a two year contract either way I was paying for the modem. wonder if I should've bought the modem outright. Oh well.

  • There is no sense of even discussing.

    CLEARWIRE IS NOT RELIABLE.

  • ur all lucky i live in hawaii, maui and i barely can mantain a yellow bar in CoD4

  • I don't have a router, I get dial up speeds, Looking for anyone for a class action suit for deceptive advertising. The only class action suit against then now is over cancellation fees,

  • If you already have clearwire, just eat the early term fee & get away, unless the idea of always-on dialup speed internet is somehow attractive to you. The longer you stay, the longer you feed the beast. They don't need any more enablement. They need to lose their collective shirt.

  • theres nothing wrong with it but sumtimes the youtube vids run a little slow but its still an OK cheapy internet company-for me-i live kinda close to there tower so i get good speed...

  • clearwire is certainly NOT "finally behaving". Please, if you haven't signed a contract, don't do it. RUN AWAY!!!! These people are not as advertised! I'm back with dialup, and I'm actually happier.

  • i am 13, but i download stuff alot, and my normal download speed is around like 50 or 60 kilobytes per second, but sometimes it goes down to 11 KB/S or ever down to bytes per second, how can i make it go faster, even just a couple hundred kilobytes per second. please someone respond. thanks

  • I bet ClearWire put a speed cap in the modem, did you see how it went to 3 Mbps when you started, and went down to 1.5 Mbps?

  • Thats what they call the Burst speed... if its a small file your downloading it will load pretty quickly. The speed cap is associated to your clear(wire) account not the modem. Regarding maximum down load speeds, you get what you pay for.

  • Contract NOT required! You can go month to month, but you'll pay full price for the equipment and an activation fee.

Also - you have a 20 day trial - to cancel in case it does not work.

  • WTF? The highest is 1.5 Mbps for download, and 256 Kbps for upload, how the hell did you get a 2 Mbps download, and 512 Kbps for upload?

  • the highest is not 1.5

  • It was before, I just found out that they now offer 2.0 Mbps instead.

  • I work for Rent-A-Center

  • Stuck in the contract and hate my speed too. If you have the same problem, why not try the "tweak the bandwith" option or TCP optimizer mods I posted earlier? IT WORKS!!! I want replies on this. If you can't figure this out, post here with your questions. Don't know about you all but I'm not going too surf a net at 20-50kB/sec for 2 years! I'm running at 1-2.5 MB per second and it's alot better than it was. I even tweaked comcast at my brother's home and he is at 16-25 MB per second!

  • I hate my service with clearwire too and hate the speed. but if you are all stuck in that contract like myself, did you try the "increase your bandwith" tweak like I posted earlier? how about the TCP Optimizer? Find my other postings down the list.

  • this guy works for them because i have 2 net connections with them and niether of them work fast

i have a pc card and also a modem both are slow he works for them no doubt it is a lie

    clearwire is a scam

  • cLearwirE sucks

    it is pure 100% crap

    take a potty because

porting it is like porting a turd!!!

A TURD WITH WIRES ON IT!!!

  • Windows uses 20% of your bandwidth

Here's how to get it back!

    Click Start-->Run-->type "gpedit.msc" without the "

This opens the group policy editor. Then go to:

    Local Computer Policy-->Computer Configuration-->Administrative Templates-->Network-->QOS Packet Scheduler-->Limit Reservable Bandwidth

Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth.

ENABLE reservable bandwidth, then set it to ZERO.

    DONE!

This will allow the system to reserve nothing, rather than the default 20%.

  • another liar i have linux and windows both are slow with clear wire and if i tie to a neighbors router wireless it doubles the speed liars for sure

  • HERE IS ALL YOUR SOLUTION! go get the TCP optimizer from speedguide website. open it and select OPTIMAL SETTING. then move the slider to 2500KB/s. Select APPLY / REBOOT. Then Test AGAIN! You'll love the result. Also, microsoft takes away 20% of your connection speed. I'll show you that next. I have 2 bars signal where I typed this away from home and my results are 2.4 MB/s!!! That is faster than all 5 bars top reception without the program! ENJOY ALL...

  • i have been for clearwire for 6 days and im not freaking satisfied with it..i called them to cancel my account but they said i have to pay for $220..wtf is that.???!!!!

they said there will be a 7 day trial period and still they want me to pay $220 bucks.????fu*k them!!they should get out of business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I live in downtown Seattle, and and I get 50kbs, on a good day.

  • Tri-Cities here, my ping is "2999" sometimes, and this video won't load. I feel as if i just got another life lesson rape session.

  • Clearwire sucks

  • WOW and Xohm/Sprint is merging with clearwire I hope they keep my speeds right where they are.

  • BEWARE OF CLEARWIRE!!! they force u into a 2 year commitment without telling u a thing, even if u call before the 7 days are up to have the commitment removed and just be month to month service, they charge you the $35 activation fee and they force you back into commitment without telling you. in other words, they RIP YOU OFF!!!

  • wtf? my clearwire fucking sucks!!! FUCK! I get your upload speed for my download!

  • thats the speed i get and i live less than 1/2 mile from the tower =/ and i was promised 3mbps

  • I got these guys a week and a half ago and I'm getting 20kbps DL speeds. I'm cancelling as soon as possible. THE WORST EVER!!

  • i have clearwire and i have 2279 kb/s DL. and 242 kb/s ul. from 50 miles away just like this guy!

  • no compren ste sistema realmente vale madres no sirve

  • clearwire sucks and it works great in the summer because of clear skys but its still slow with a new computer and i tried it on unreal tornament and its lag with a Windows Xp pro

  • I have Clearwire and it sucks. It's slow and unreliable!! Fuck you Clearwire!!!!!

  • streaming media is the same things as downloading it, fck clearwire for saying you cant stream anything lol. they are having a few class actions soon to be against them :)

clearwire TOS was written by mickey mouse

  • I get great speed, just as shown above, so long as I don't stream, use online games, or anything that uses bandwidth. Their tower is overloaded. When it is busy, their software cuts my speed down to 1/5th its former. Their ads say fast speed, but it's only fast so long as you don't use it.

  • thats like saying a rifle shoots perfectly as long as you dont fire it

  • lol thats a good 1

  • Clearwire sucks ass from the back to the front. Don't be fooled. The service is lousy

  • @Tellingulikeitis its not if you got a tower outside of your house xD

  • clearwire aint even worth using, your better off hooking an antanae to your computer.

  • Yeah, maybe you could even get channel 13.

  • Clearwire "broadband" is really slow. I can't even watch 10 minute videos on here without buffering for 10 minutes first. Yup, it's crappy as hell.

  • clearwire isnt gr8 but its better then ur saying upgrade it.. i have it and i watch videos fine w/e waiting

  • lol, I have the liberty of charging those $200 fees.

  • Oh, nice. Fuck you then, and I hope you kill yourself.

  • well it is really a shit service in ireland why does a fucking american company have to cum to my country and fuck up the broadband

  • I know how you feel. I'm saving up so I can cancel the service. Maybe I'll get enough to cancel by next Christmas. I'd rather not stay for two years on this crappy ISP when Roadrunner costs the same as my current Clearwire plan, and it's 5 mbps instead of 1.5 mbps (which I never get anyway).

  • Well, if you're still going to charge me 190 to cancel the service, you can still blow my cock and balls

  • You are sad and pathetic

  • well i'm not lying and the guy i asked that to actually does work with me. its just weird that he was @ work looking at this and i was to but on a different day.

  • um you need to get back to work. You know how Clearwire feels about streaming video's on their network. You will get caught.

  • It's the truth too, have you read through the service policy? It says that streaming media is not allowed!

Here's another kicker. Back when I was fighting Clearwire about the 7 kbps speeds I was getting, the lady on the phone said that the contract stated the service was UP TO 1.5Mbps. Not 1.5Mbps, but up to it. So she refused to do anything about my sub-dialup speeds.

I love Clearwire, they're the best! I fucking hate their guts in Seattle, WA!

  • I guess your dumb ass should have read the policy BEFORE signing up. Now you want to complain.

  • @synthead wtf awwwwww 8( i wus about to buy it 8**(

  • @synthead yes it is i called clearwire and asked them thay say u cant do Gamer servers or file hosting 24/7 but u can do it for a couple of hours
