  • that was exellent, clear ,well played ,camera just right and easy to follow thank you and well done

  • nice one , nice and clear ....much thanks

  • @ westcoastjez, no I don't. Learning sheet music well enough to play music in the way you're inferring requires talent and dedication. Sheet music is not a crutch for mediocrity. Tab has it's place and I've used it on rare occasion when there was no alternative, but tab is not music. It's painting by numbers. If you depend on it, you'll never become an artist.

@ TPTES - see above, and you are wrong. Anyone can train their "ear" to learn music. Some just have to work at it harder.

  • God, I hate when people ask for the tab on an arrangement. Why do you need tab? Just take the time to look at the fingering and pause the frame when necessary. If you aren't good enough to take it from there then find something easier until you are. Don't expect others to do all the work for you. You're lucky you didn't have to figure out James Taylor 30 years ago by dropping the needle on a vinyl LP 57 times in the same groove for each phrase.

  • @psalmer54 do you feel that way about pianists who need sheet music?

  • @psalmer54 Not everybody can play by ear. There is nothing wrong with tablature.

  • @psalmer54

None ever HAD to figure out music by dropping the needle on a vinyl LP 57 times. You may have chosen that (instead of say writing your own stuff) but stop moaning about how others learn to play a song.

  • You sound great man!

  • Wrong key?

  • @jmforge I think John Martin played it more or less like this but with a capo on the fourth fret...

  • stunning thankyou, now where the ell can i find the tab for that? way more than i can play, thankyou, and please help

  • Its great. very impressive. I wish I could see a tab of this.

  • First 2 chords are completely wrong

  • mint-except-i-swear-the-first-two-chords-are-wrong

  • is it regular tuning?

  • No. Drop the bass E down to D. Other strings are standard.

  • @KingofRoath thank you,i though so

  • Thanks very much for that, the best lesson for MYN on You tube without a doubt, very clear and accurate, now I've got it sorted.
