@badblueman if heaven can be permanent for doing good deeds then why cant hell be permanent and brother all religions teach good valuesand not to do bad and to do good, but the reason why Islam is the truth is that it even gives us its solutions to every single problem and if god can give you this life to live to understand and see and even time to cm to the right path then why cant he put us in hell? nobody can ask him he is the who created everything....:)

There is only one problem. The diamonds and pin numbers aren't conscious...not even sentient. So saying that something is "more precious" than diamonds, doesn't make it automatically something you lock up in a vault or hide. Humans aren't property, you don't lock them up in vaults. A faulty analogy if I ever saw one.

@UnderstandingAll If there is a god, wanting to enslave me...then natural laws go out the window and subjective perception is all I have; then being a "slave to natural laws" is no longer true, and I can keep my detachment by not being a willing slave to god.
I am natural law. I am an expression of the universal law at this moment. So I'm a slave to myself, which is ok. Being a slave to an external source, takes me out of the universal paradigm and that's where my detachment begins...if needed.

@UnderstandingAll You don't understand. A good "analogy" to what I tried to say would be this: "I am already falling off a building right now, as I sit in front of the PC". Why would I say that? because everything I do, all thoughts I have and where they lead are already nature (atoms, molecules...) following natural law (gravity, EM...). So me falling off a building is the same level of "slavery to nature" as sitting here right now thinking.
Slavery to god isn't the same as existing in nature.

@UnderstandingAll The only way slavery to god would be the same as slavery to nature...would be if god was me; in other words: if god was everything (which I'd call nature). If you followed a pantheistic or panentheistic god, I'd understand and agree(-ish) with you. But you believe in a theistic "king" god. Human like, with emotions and complete causal disconnection from everything - a god that isn't part of nature. That's why there are different types of "slavery" going on in this discussion.

@bbm Lets look at Time, Space, and Nature. 2 of those are without "Human" control or intervention. We can not deny that they are, has been and until their end will always be perfectly organized under their Creator.s control in which they are being controlled. Nature on the other hand has no complete human control but human invention which in most cases (not all) leads to destruction. Nature left untouched by human beings are sustained, preserved & provided for by none other than its Creator.

Ok, you see the problem here is that you see a difference between "the universe" (nature, space-time...) and humans. Now of course, in our every day thinking, I am not the same as "the universe", and yes, it is outside "human control". But! I also know that I am a part of nature (atoms, laws...).
I think that saying I am "a slave to nature" is not completely true. I think my slavery to nature can also be just an illusion.

@BBman well until the "illusion" can be proven to be an illusion it remains as REAL and True as the air we breathe. The feelings we Feel and the thoughts we think sounds we hear. We can not physically see such things but we know without a doubt undoubtedly it's in existence. Well we use the same concept for the angels (Pbuh) and Allah azza wajal then we can have the beautiful pure honest belief in Islam/Qur'aan and Allah (SWT). For there is No god But Allah & Muhammad (SAWS) is his messenger.

Science... chemistry, physics, biochemistry, biology... everything in our bodies, our bodies themselves and the thoughts that arise because of the chemistry in the body (brain) happens according to universal laws. We experience choice (what some call free will). But thanks to knowledge we also know that there is a reality beyond choice...beyond our control, beyond free will. That's the ultimate reality.

If you find yourself in heaven and you see me burning in hell...remember who the good guy is.
Where is Allah's mercy? If I was Allah, I wouldn't create hell. That's mercy.

@TheRmxa I was given no truth and I'm 22. There is zero proof for any god, especially the Islamic one. Everything that happens is Allah's fault because he created everything. Allah hasn't given me any guidance, Allah has made me atheist. I see no right path or wrong path... all I see the universe. Again nothing is my fault, your Allah made the universe not me. I don't know the difference between right and wrong... ad again your Allah made me atheist.
