  • Ochkeron,

You do such a wonderful job with your dishes...very creative and gorgeous to look at!

    Your fan from Morocco!

  • @mystiquemorocco thank you from Morocco :D

  • That looks so good. I'll have to try that out in my new wok. Thank you

  • @deview123 you have a wok! great ;)

  • Looks delicious Ochi! I have never had Okinawan food but that looks really good!

  • @MrEZCooking my reply was late but thanks ;) okinawa was a great place! hehe

  • Sorry for my lateness checking this video :( the new video update did not come thru again :( I think I just have to check your page everyday hehe.. We eat mozuku everyday in our house before eating the dinner so that it helps digesting the rest of food etc.. :-) Nice recipe! and looks like you had fun in Okinawa!!!! :D <3

  • LOVE IT!! Yay! :D I didn't get to pick mozuku last year so I hope I can this year. :D Then I will make it fresh again. Thanks for posting, Ochi! <3

  • @rebekhasmith thanks rebekha!!! every time i see mozuku, it reminds me of you picking mozuku. haha i absolutely loved fresh seaweed there in okinawa, especially UMIBUDO!!!

  • I really like that shirt, and that look on you. It suits you.

Oh yeah, you cooked something too didn't you ;) That stir fry looks absolutely divine!

  • @JunmaiShu thanks! i bought the shirt in NY. and was on sale. hehe

  • no one asked me but Gomoku (五目) means Five Ingredients in Japanese ;) i added it in the description box.

  • I lived in Okinawa on Kadena Air Force Base for 3 years and I loved it!! I read your blog and I also went to Shuri Castle and the Nago Pineapple Park. It was an amazing experience :)

  • @KiraTakahashi13 really! i went by the air force base when i went there! i heard that there are schools and many shops in there. very cool ;D was it like living in the U.S.? how long do people usually stay there. i just wonder. hehe

  • @ochikeron It was very different than the US but the school was just like an american school. Usually the maximum time you can be there is 4 years but it really depends. :)

  • @KiraTakahashi13 oh really!? that might be too short if you love japan. hehe but i guess you learned a lot about japan and you now understand me why i want to share japanese stuff with people overseas. hehe

  • I wanna hear you speak in Japaneseee~ >3<

  • @Misodashii if you go to runnyrunny999's channel, i speak jap in his video ;) hehe i linked that video in my collab vids playlist <3

  • This recipe is very simple, yet very nutritious. I like it.

  • Oh my God, I actually found Mozuku at my local asian store ( For French people around Lyon, Paris Store has them, look next to the fish freezers ;) )!

I'm going to try this recipe tonight, and if it turns good I'll do it for Lunar New Year.

    Thanks a lot, you're amazing!

  • @emiliexiongmao i hope it comes out nice!

  • @ochikeron It was really good!

  • @emiliexiongmao great :D thanks for trying out!!!

  • @emiliexiongmao thanks for the information :)

  • this is beautiful!

  • I love your frying pan a lot :O

  • It's looks like same kind of package but Seaweed stem r with a lots of salt.

Now I have to go Korean supermarket to get some.

  • @sjunghee is that you?! hehe that is something different (茎わかめ?) but mozuku might be available at korean stores, too ;) or you can use 茎わかめ. just remove some salt if it's too salty!

  • I hope I can cook like this one day. I love the frying panda btw

  • are those shitake fresh or dried or reconstituted?

  • @spongebob2789 very good question!!!!! i used fresh shiitake BUT i saved them in freezer. do you know mushrooms (shiitake, shimeji, and those kinds) become tasty if you freeze?! that is something i do to save and make it really tasty!!! of course, you can use dried or fresh shiitake! there is no problem using them :)

  • your voice is so pleasant to the ear, and your recipe as usual is excellent

    arigatou

  • @NoobsAbuse i already have lady gaga bento which might be too complicated... and also i have dishes that goes good for bento (please check out my playlists). actually, bento recipe has no limit, so you can customize any dish in your bento box with rice. anyways, i will try to make a video showing you how to someday.

  • great video again love it :) bright colours nom nom

  • can i request the recipe for mozuku su??

  • I know I've asked before, but could i use this with pancetta? Maybe less salt added, and serve it over long pasta? i think it would be very good! sorry, I am Italian! :-)

  • @discordia69 oh, i think yes! that sounds interesting and pretty tasty i guess ;)

  • This looks fantastic! I hope I can find the Mozuku. By the way, I'm still getting emails from that contest you were in a few months back. Every once in a while I get an email in Japanese. The first time I thought it was my brother playing a joke (he speaks Japanese), but they keep coming. I'm sorry you didn't win, but from what we made of it you did place highly. Next time you'll do even better!

  • @CheapAndTasty i'm sorry for the direct e-mails X( i also receive it and i realized that there is no way to unsubscribing which is pretty annoying for me now. lol

  • other than the bacon looking too undercooked for my preference, awesome recipe!

  • @jin455 I think in this case it's sort of how bacon in the US looks different than bacon in the UK. This looks like bacon that comes from the same cut as UK bacon does, which is why it doesn't look so dark.

  • @EdmundZeThird oh, that is interesting to know! thanks!!!

  • グッチ裕三の「フライパンダ のみ3000円

(did I say that right? oh well I tried, googles not helpful) super cute though and only about 3,000 yen or $39 us =D

  • I would love to try this! I have to look for Mozuku when I visit the local asian grocery store next!

By the way, may we perhaps see a mitarashi dango recipe sometime in the future? That is a dish I would love to see you make; Your recipes are so easy to follow. :)
