@UnicornNinja127 Nah they were originally basketball shoes...but no one uses em em for basketball anymore....Jordans pretty much snuffed out convos as b-ball shoes lol. But i've heard that you can skate in them...they jus arent made specifically for skating so they might tear or wear down easier.

@HelpMeSkate97 naww sk8board shoes are just comfy and protective of your feet when riding. they dont have a pointed toe to get in the way (like running shoes) and flip flops, sandals, or heels just wouldn't work at all for obvious reasons. hope this helps <3

@anthny777 Totally agreed. One day after leaving tennis lessons from a tennis center, i coincidentally rode by a skate park and had my board with me, decided to go skate a bit. Was wearing my tennis shoes, totally screwed me up. Its like i had wooden blocks on my feet, no grip and they didn't bend. I could barely hit an ollie.
