  • I love this video, ugh imagine being in a females body and being a masculine as you can be. It's so frustrating and society is so stubborn they don't wanna stop and listen to OUR side of the stories! God bless all you MTF's FTM's and people apart of the LGBTQ community or somewhere in between! I love you guys :) and we gotta stick together and keep our heads up high and support each other because if the LGBTQ community and the MTF and FTM's don't stick together...who will. -3 xoxox

  • you're awesome.

  • This is ridiculous. You must attend the local liberal establishment university to have your head pumped full of so much bullshit.

  • . . . . .or you could just have an IQ above 20.

  • Yeah I know you have to be really intelligent for a sociology degree you welfare sucking, AA leeching scumbag. Go fuck yourself.

  • Temper, temper, Mister Nwomo. 1) By the looks of things, a sociology degree is a bit beyond your reach. As, abstract thinking seems to have escaped you.

You go ahead and let society think for you, one day when you want to grow up and start thinking for yourself, you should let me know. We'll talk, until then I'll just have to settle for laughing at your ignorance.

  • Holly shit only spoiled westerners have such non problems.

  • Where's the beaver?

  • 1. Gay doesn't have "a look"

    2. A human with a penis can have a brain function of a woman, chemically and neurologically. This has been proven with brain scans and horomone tests.

    3. There is also the problem of the rare occurance of humans with full female and full male parts that both function fully. In this case they have a "choice" of gender on what they "feel" they are. So shouldn't everyone be able to make a choice on what they "feel" they are? straight to gay to everywhere between.

  • @paodung I love it when people who get it describe me to a "T", and then I'm slapped with reality when I either look "down" or in a mirror. Anyone got a gun? Janie? No? Anyone?

  • i like lesbians

  • this video was AWESOME! it has helped me come to the conclusion that im a mix of both genders. im not either one. im just looking at people trying to label me now. i just joined the lgbt group at my college and we get to go to the capitol and talk to the legislators on why they should keep gay marriage legal in Iowa. so it should be very exciting. i cant wait.

  • i sat down my cat and had her watch this shes been confused thank u it helped her alot! =]

  • "a perfect combination of both"

    i like that

  • what the fuck bro?

  • This is why they make red cars and blue cars. Just don't watch if you don't like it. But don't leave negitive, personally offensive comments to people you don't even know. It's kind of pathetic...

  • I think that you may be reading into her comments offense that is'nt actually there. In fact,I hate to say this since I don't know you,but your overreaction may say more about your own self image than it does about Michelle's judgement of other types of lesbians. In fact, she's not the one who remarked that " she is not very feminine looking ". By the way, she is. She may not have to work at it very hard.Bottom line. We should try be more tolerant and give others the benefit of the doubt.

  • Beauty and femininity too--I guess, is in the eye of the beholder. In my own opinion Michelle's has a lot of feminine beauty. But whatever. As for her "fem ego ",I don't see that from any of her videos which shows to me,at least, someone with a sweet, good natured kind of personality. This is all speculation of course since I don't actually know her. Maybe you do,but if you don't then I don't see where you're getting all of this negativity about her.

  • I can't comment on your " gift ". I can only go by my own impressions. Michelle come across to me as someone so unwilling to offend that she bends over backwards so as not to hurt someones feelings. But,my feelings are the same. Unless there's evidence to the contrary, we should all strive to give others the benefit of the doubt and assume that they mean well.Just like I assume you mean well.

  • I love you for calling BS on all of that. <3

  • I like when you were saying that there's no check box for "I'm not sure." I just started working at Kohl's, and our options for sex were: Male, Female, or Unknown. :)

  • that's amazing.

  • I think that is awesome. I wish more applications had that.

    Erin

  • in between genders = "do i wear the heels or flats??" LOL =P

get that BS called mamma beaver lol XD

wise words as always Michelle :) x

  • hi there , I think you really nailed it when you said that people just don't feel comfortable with things that aren't "definted iam transgender and ive been battleing the world since may 2008 and its awfull and i hate it can someone send me some words of incouragementthrough email i feel that iam female now butt still look male so i have a hard tie using a womens restroom

  • Thanks michelle! I really needed to hear that! I am legit :)

  • "People are just uncomfortable with something that has no definition..."

    THANK...YOU...GOD...!

I've been saying this for years and beginning to wonder if I really was just that weird lol

  • i was a tom-boy growing up.. but i still don't consider myself a femme.. i like to wear my basketball shorts & i like to wear my nice dress pants. (i don't like wearing skirts/dresses).

  • ive never felt in between wen it comes to my gender

but i've always kinda though it would be easier to be a guy sumtimes =/ then i wouldn't hafta disappoint my family. I'm a proud girl lover lol, but its hard sometimes

  • "UHH I'm a guy? I don't know what happened here?"

    Love it.

  • i'm genderqueer!! if anyone needs a genderqueer person to talk to i'm here :)

  • i cant tell you how important these videos are for me and definitely many others..JUST to know that were not alone :)

  • Michelle, I think you really nailed it when you said that people just don't feel comfortable with things that aren't "definted". That is a really profound statement on a lot of different levels. People look at me and totally assume I'm straight. Can't always judge by looking. The same goes for my partner. Then there is the whole discussion about "passing"...it's complicated sometimes.

  • When you mentioned "definition", I thought "heres a girl that understands". btw; I am having a hard time defining myself. Do I have to??

  • I completly aggree

  • I loved the part when u said " there is no box to check saying "in between" or " ask me again in two years" hahaha

  • @Brozufil What the hell are you talking about? You beleive in evolution is that what your saying?!?!?!

  • ? LOL no... .. just read again the commnt if u don't understand it... lol

  • U should read twice things you don't understand, before asking what, all I can do is repeat my self all over again which I'm not going to do, unless I was retarded.

  • Great vid. People need to realise that sexuality isn't a dichotomous/binary thing, but a continuum.

  • Agreed about the whole gender issue, about not feeling completely male if you are female, and vice versa. However technically in the physical sense you are a paticular gender, that was defined by science, however you might be the opposite gender or both when it comes to 'gender' defined by society. I dont know if this makes sense. :)

  • what if u thoght u were gay and been in that lifestyle but now want out,is that possible?I have a friend who thinks she made a mistake.

  • yes its possible haha sexuality is a spectrum fluid!

  • just b/c your gay doesnt mean you hav to live the "gay lifestyle". i'm not at all involved in the gay community my lifestyle isnt a GAY one its a ME one.

if you or your friend needs to talk mor feel free to contact me

    <3

  • Oh Michelle, rested or not you always make me smile. Just wanted to say thanks :)

  • I love you <3

  • I believe gender is constructed. Like sexuality, it's a continuum with a number of points -- not a binary system. Personally, I'm most attracted to people who embrace both the masculine and feminine sides of their personality. This goes for my friendships with both women and men. To me, the ideal woman can master both a power tool and a liquid eyeliner pen. She looks sexy in heels and sneakers (not at the same time, of course). She's a top and a bottom and everything in between. :)

  • thank you

  • I agree with you on the culture thing. Complicating further is the fact that even those whose sex and gender match, may have interests that society has assigned to the opposite sex!

The corrollory to that being the in between gender person may not necessarily be opposite in all their life interests. e.g. a bio-girl leaning to maleness may not necessarity want to be a mechanic.

    Well spoken as always, Michelle!

  • queen of the gays ;]

    yes lol

  • Culture vs nature will be one of those social tug of wars that hopefully will no longer be a burden to the human race. Take off those gender bias blinders right now! We should see nothing more then a beautiful person who has the right to exist the way they want be.

  • It is soo good to have someone telling you everything is ok, and that exactly what you feel is what you should and caan feel if you want to. That little pep talk of "you are completely normal, you can be whatever you want, how you want it, just as it fits you", helps soo many a baby beav, and that's what I loove about you Michelle, 'cos you're so liberal and all loving! Great vid!

    -Liz

  • to hell with the dominant cultural ideals of the binary gender norm.

    stick it! lol

just be who you are and be assertive about it.

    well said michelle!! :)

  • There are alot of different catagories, if you were born one gender but identify as the opposite sex, then you are transgendered. Now, if your a les girl, but your not really butch or femme, then its called androgeny. Like me, I dont identify with any gender, I am just me. Im a tomboy from hell, but I can dress up femme when needed. I am finding in the baby gen that it is more common to be "andro". There is no place that says you have to identify with any certain gender, just be you. ;)

  • super amazingly well said :) x

  • there's also intersex people yeah...

this video was just amazing. "what you feel inside is exactly who you are"... you are my hero michelle! :)

  • Well said, as a transwoman, I could not have said it any better.

    Much love, <3

    Tori

  • you're a HOT MESS and I'm falling for you and I'm like HOT DAMN let me make you my boo!

sorry, I just had to say it.

ok, but serious times now, great vid. I definately agree with you on the inside person not the outside body thing. I find it kind of funny how people always say "it's the inside that counts" but when someone outright says "my body does not match who I am on the inside, I am really a guy/girl/other who was born in the wrong body" people tell the person that they are just confused

  • "ask me again in two years" lol true that

  • Not only that, but there is an in between, biologically in intersex people. You are labeled male or female (your sex) because of the presence or lack of a penis, no check of your chromosomes or internal organs. Man or Woman (your gender) is a role society puts on you and how you identify/express yourself. Our society likes binaries; other societies have more than 2 gender categories. It's a matter of completely changing language and thought patterns, but I think that we can do it... eventually

  • Lovely video. :)

  • x3 like ur checkbox analogy :D

  • ur hott.

  • from all the videos this week this one totally describes me... thank youu

  • yep, i feel that way about sexuality.. feeling in limbo.. i dont fully fit in anymore in the straight world & i'm getting used to the gay world because now in college there's a stronger gay community & i'm trying to figure where & how I'm most comfortable acting. i'm also more on the femme side so that's makes things a tad tougher tooo. i used to think that because i didn't really fit the stereotype, i wasn't really "bi." i'm very glad to hear that youv'e felt that way before too :) thanks

  • You basically just said what I've been trying to find words for. Thanks.

  • i hate it when a large part of society thinks something then they think their right. no questions asked.

..i hate that more then anything. let people live the way they want to. it's called THEIR life for a reason.

  • love this vid! good job michelle!

  • *draws a new check box and checks it!*

  • that made soooo much sense coming from someone who thinks they have little light to shed on the subject.

  • this video is awesome! its very helpful. i never thought of it like that. im glad i asked.

  • i wish i looked half as good as u do exhausted when im wide awake lol :D great video! i like seeing a gay girl like me. heels or flats?

  • your so awesome...wish i could be lesbian...

  • Even though you make think you aren't totally qualified to talk on the topic, I think you did a great job...

    and get some sleep!

  • you're so critical. you look pretty. i promise.

  • In one of my college classes recently we discussed gender, and read an article about how sex is biological but gender is a social construct. Our TA told us about a group of people in Mexico that have 3 genders in their society: male, female, and mouger (idk about the spelling, but it's pronounced "moo-jay") which is basically biological males who take on the female role in society. They don't necessarily dress like women, but they have that role. And they're in no way considered male.

  • for being tired you make a great video

  • apparntly in native american tribes people who were two- spirited where they could like be a man one day and a woman another day were highly praised and also where the leaders of the tribes

  • I really think you found a way to show people your point of view by comparing the gay/straight feeling of beeing ''in between''

I don't know if I'm clear, but I really like your video ... even if it does not apply to myself.

Now have a good night of sleep :)

  • That was pretty awesome, I'm sorry you're tired, I feel tired everyday... high school.
