  • Think of this: Imagine that PR is independent. These people step up to govern the Island. You disagree with what the plan to do. Guess what... they kill you. Same as terrorist. If you don't agree with them, they don't sit down and discuss it, they simply kill you and put you and others out of there way, because in their mind they are right and you and the others are wrong!!!

  • @GUALLACOL What proof do you have of such claims? The only thing I see are people fighting for freedom from what they see is an oppressive force. And guess what.. being a colony they have that right. The US came to Puerto Rico shooting, not with with gifts or wanting to vacation on the island.

Folks on your side of the fence always seem to mask (or maybe forget) that deadly force has been used on the nationalist party for decades.. one can only take so much.

  • @CrazyTacky Well... you need to look deeper, because the US is not oppresing people on the Island. The people on the Island are not in concentration camps nor are being killed or tortured nor being stripped of their God give rights. They vote for their Governer every 4 years. The U.S. has given them the opportunity to vote on the status Quo and still to this day they haven't decided.

You need brush up on your history. Spain gave up PR to the U.S.!!!

  • @GUALLACOL No, it's you that needs to look deeper.. you think that because the US give Puerto Rico a few biscuits here and there that it's better for the people on the island. The US makes good money off the island and still has a strategic military stronghold on that part of the world thanks to Puerto Rico.

You're right Spain did give the island up but maybe YOU need to read up a little.. Puerto Rico was attacked. Bombardment, invasion, skirmish, battle.. hmm I wonder what they mean.

  • @GUALLACOL BTW there's more than one form of oppression. It doesn't always have to be so obvious.

  • @CrazyTacky Ooooohhh, yeah I know the one!!! The one in your head!!!!

  • @GUALLACOL I'm not even going to bother replying any more.. most of the time this is how it ends.

Folks like you say something, I come back with some questions and opinions, my questions don't ever get answered and it ends up becoming something silly (like replying with something like your last comment). If you're going to make a comment like that then back it up with facts to prove me wrong.

    Peace.

  • @CrazyTacky I've already answered your question, now you want me to back it up. As you already said here we go again. I am still waiting for what kind of oppression you are speaking of.

    Roger and out!!!

  • @GUALLACOL I'm not sure where you grew up but if you did go to school in Puerto Rico, were you ever taught any relevant "true" Puerto Rican history. Does the school system teach about Puerto Ricans that not only did great things for their people but for people all over the world?

When the US first took over they devalued Puerto Rico's money, experimented on it's people, imposed US citizenship (for self interests) .. all these things are very well documented.

    You never answered anything.

  • fuckc white america

  • the yankees have brainwashed the Puerto Rican. we want independence from the yankee!!!!

  • Si Pedro Albizu Campos no hubiera existido, tu (Rafael) no hubieras ido a la carcel!

  • @GUALLACOL I don't exactly know how you mean this but..

Don Pedro didn't make him do anything, Don Rafael did what he felt HE needed to do.

  • gracias
