Man, I remember singing this song for 7th grade, ah good times. This piece was one of my favorite songs I have ever singed in my whole Choir life. Very touching and will bring tears to parents watching, I would like to see my son sing this when he gets to this point. That will bring tears of joy to me and to my heart.

i just got home from my all-region concert, and our concert tenor-bass choir sang this. they sounded awesome. i just love this song. it's so beautiful. i sometimes melt in my seat while listening to it. especially when an awesome boys choir is singing it.
for honor chorus we sung the song. but it was arranged in TBB it was great singing the baritones part. i really liked this song. i cant get it out of my mind and i agree its reall beautiful

Kudos, to the director for some very subtle shadings that that make this performance incredible.. like punching the volume for the last two lines. Wow!

This is a high school men's ensemble, I was 17 at the time (singing B1)
You can hear many of us singing the wrong words at one point, we were so nervous =)
