Robin just simply wasn`t prepared for his opening match vs Murray.

His second match at the WTF`s, Soderling had match practise on the courts, was feeling 100 percent and Ferrer was no match.

Against Federer, Robin played a great opening set in my opinion and deserved the opening set against Roger (of course im goning too say this, im a Soda fan :-)

But once Robin lost opening set against Federer, the event was over. As Soda needed a straight sets victory to progress!

Even though I`m a huge Soderling fan, he was very unlucky at this years World Tour Finals. Two weeks prior this event Robin just claimed his first ATP Masters event in Paris, a lot of energy physically and mentally was put into this (the semis in Paris against Llodra was a classic/epic match). Then three, four days before the World Tour Finals began Soderling was very unwell, this mean`t his training wasn`t very good for this event.

@BrainSane237 you're right! if you're watching tennis at tv, sometimes in this kind of moments you would think the ball it's in but when they are giving us the replay it turns out the ball it's out! so maybe we are getting fooled by the angle of the camera!

If you pause the vid right when the ball hits the ground, you can see that the ball is just slightly behind the baseline (we see it from the worst possible angle anyways).

If the ball was obviously in, the chair umpire (who would have had the best possible angle) would have overturned the call; also, THE roger federer, who undoubtedly has a godly feel for the ball, simply looked away and acknowledged that the ball was out without hesitation. Are you doubting the Fed's opinion? :/
