i have a question, my game is a bit different, the character select is different, the VS screen's are different and after i win a battle they dont show that screen where the character shows off, plz reply because ive seen alot of same videos that show the same thing. other than that my game is the same, i have all characters unlocked except shin akuma, cant beat him :/

Is there any way to make pulling of the super moves easier?

I've just bought the game and am finding it infuriatingly hard to pull of ANY super move.

I'm playing it on Alpha Anthology on the PS2 using the standard controller, with standard button configs.

I'm using A-Ism genuarly and am currently learning the game with Ryu.

It's lots of fun playing against my bro on vs, but being unable to control the supers of our characters stops the game being as good as I know it is.

You can try basic hits123 and short combos first, other than Ryu, do you try ken and akuma? There are many expert around here, this akuma also has great combo presented.

And what other ways is it better? The only thing I've encountered in SF4 that's better than SFA3 is the graphics. The gameplay in SF4 is subpar. Maybe little kids would enjoy this game because most of them can't handle high-speed (Turbo7) techniques and combos like in SFA3.

alpha 3 isn't played in high-level tournaments anymore since it's ridiculously broken, but SFII is still played at EVO every year, as well as SFIII, and soon SFIV.

This game paled in comparison to Alpha 2. The character/end art was SHOCKING, the commentator needs to SHUT UP!, the music was disgraceful, the endings were a JOKE as was the storyline, cloning Cammy and making Cody a criminal ruined their characters and that counter fall was the most ridiculous addition to the fighting style. Capcom had a good thing with SFA2, which is only second to SFIII3rd IMO and then they ruin it with this crap. Anyone agree with me here?

little tip for me, m.bison is not that hard to battle, he only has his pattern moves which he usually does.. just observe his move properly, it dont matter if you lose, just keep observing and countering his moves, believe me, i am just like you when i first played the game, you will be able to beat bison.. believe it

why do you and everyone hate 3rd strike so much? is it just cuz they decided to not be mundane and actually make a bunch of new characters (unlike every other fighter that only adds like 2 every new game), or is it that 3rd strike tries to add a bit extra to the game by NOT using several characters with almost identical moves.

In essence, I hate this game. The hell with ISMs. I have this game for Dreamcast which goes above & beyond the arcade but I still hate it compared to Alpha 2, but that's not saying much. I think the Alpha series should never have been made but that's just my opinion. The only reason I like the Alpha series is: Gen. Case closed.

Actually, no. The only one's you can unlock is Juni, Juli, and I think Balrog.
