VERY clean setup I like the projector. If anyone needs parts or tons of information check us out and our theaters. Our DIY Projector kits are now in our store!. Great job Michael on your build!
Thank u , I've Worked a lot trying to reach biggest bright ever on DIY projector, using just 150 watts HID bulb, with Condeser LEns from HEadlight cars
there is no way to say a step by step, I've used home parts, I cannot send a book telling how to make step by step. Just follow the video go to LumenLab and uses parts that u have at home
I recommend going to LumenLab(.com). That's the best place for DIY projectors. They have a store with almost everything you need and a great forum with cool, knowledgeable people, FAQs, etc. You can make a really good projector if you set your goals high enough. I'm currently gathering parts for my 1080p projector which will have HDMI, Component, Composite, S-Video and VGA inputs.
Everybody has to read ur post here, lots of peoples email me asking how to make one, and even I saying go to Lumenlab post ur doubt there , they keep bodering me
I have built two so far, but after breaking both Lcd's I have up. feel free to send a pm to me and I can show you some pictures of both Projectors i built. Not Hd, but both were made for under $50. Not bad for a big screen!
Purchasing the product is not the only issue to consider.
after using it for a long time, comercials projector needs Bulbs replacements that costs more than 300$, with my projector, with just 15 dollar u replace a lamp that will be usefull for more than 10.000 hours. hahahahahahah .

so I guess it is not hd?
constantfreak53 4 years ago
Yes my boy it is .
you can reproduce images with great resolution, you can connect your Plasystation 3 or Xbox 360 with the max resolution.
But to it happen you have to create a "homemade projector" using the right screen.
Using Sharp Screen with 1024X780 resolution you can reach HD
michaelnoardo 4 years ago
wow, I guess I'll try this then.

If you used a cfl bulb, would you be able to not run the fan and save power?
coastale 4 years ago
Every bulbs incrases temperature, even so, Fan does not consume to much, it uses 12volts 0.5 mA
michaelnoardo 4 years ago
I do prefer to pay $15 versus 300 bucks for a bulb or tosihba or dell

Hi ..
It is cheap, i guess with 300 U$ you can build your own.
the best of it, is that the lamp duration is bigger, and
the lamp is much cheaper, just 15U$ here in BRazil
