Just started using Iron on Ubuntu Linux and it's good. Even feels faster than Chrome/Chromium. Maybe because it isn't constantly sending shit back to Google that it loads and runs fast.

SRWare Iron Can't Be Trusted - At Least Not Yet!

They've developed a so called privacy oriented browser that played on the paranoia of the general public for ad revenue as their prerogative all along.

They say Google is Evil and the German people don't like Google, well that's fine and that is one of the supposed reasons for this project.

Then what else do they now do, run Google Adsense on their site and support running Google banners on their startpage site also.

chrome works just fine , anf if you are warried

about the privacy thing ... you can just change your DNS and you will be fine ...

I used Google Chrome and then I found out about ChromePlus. When I found out about Iron I immediately switched from ChromePlus and am glad I did. I just wish that SRWare brings some ChromePlus features to Iron.

good for u then, however my understanding of browsers goes beyond the "speed is the most essential thing there is!", theres the q-s regarding STABILITY and SECURITY in a browser

yea sorry about what i said above. i was only using it for one thing. but i tryed other crap and its not great. like it has problems with email. i sent like 3 importnat emails on iron but it turns on they never were sent.

I think that the go0gle proggers, much like the m$ counterparts, have put to much of their (flawed) code in it, yes i know this browser IS not the identically same as go0gles chrome, but app this browser needs a LOT of improvement, but im not going near it, anything go0gle, much like m$, is best left alone imo, whenever a company is set on world domination its high time to get out of the way
