ive listened to bread since i was like 5 years old (my dad used to listen to bread since he was like 8 years old), now i am 20.....year by year i listened to this music.....still, every time i hear, it stills touches me greatly, somehow if it was like the first time. Bread is music that stays for ever....not like the trash young people listen to these days (like lesbian justin beiber)...everybody forgets about those songs after a small amount of time.
Great Song...My father passed just recently, He left his wife heartbroken. They were married for 12 years He was only 60 years old when (ALS) deadly disease took his life away too early. But he is resting now in the Heavens with Angels watching above us. I love you..DAD

Bread's music is so much loved is because they sing about the greatest thing anyone can have and or loose. I was 10 years old in 1970. I was exposed to many of these songs and have held then close to me all my life. To have a great love in your heart, even if it is not returned or even rejected can change your soul for the better only if that love does not turn to hate. Hate is the destroyer of all things. Love is way of the Creator. It is better to have loved and lost...well you know the rest.

I have always loved Bread. If you notice their recordings you could always hear the separation of the instruments. They always had good arrangements in their music. Unlike today's crap that's out there, everything is just tossed and thrown together like a salad! Indeed Bread put the time and the effort into their music.
