Interesting series guys. I see that the driver's toque is different for some of these vid's, so these obviously weren't all done in one road trip. Also, good match-ups compared to some on YT that make no sense at all.

This is one of my favs. A tough one because they are both very gifted (yet underrated) players that weren't exactly blessed with rangy lead vocalists. I'm gonna go with DeMartini on the basis that his unmistakable unique tone (like EVH) comes mostly from just the use of his hands.

nice video hahaha :) but i disagree .. to mee Warren demartiny it's way better tecknitian than Vitto, but Vitto has better feel... however Warren demartiny has more experience couse he was playint whitesnake, Ronnie james dio.. thats why i whould say that i'd like Warren demartini to my band couse he prove that he can play other player's style... cheers!

Actually, I won't comment on who's better, but there's one obvious retarded thing both the judges did.

Warren is by far more technically skilled. It's pretty obvious, Vito had killer tapping technique, but Warren outdoes him when it comes to sheer speed and difficult patterns.

@benjamman vito was the best technically cause a lot of ratt's solo are all just legato fills when vito did things i don't have as clue how to do. don't get me wrong warren is a crazy awesome guitarist

without a doubt........warren demartini. the man is truly a guitar legend! though vito is good. his techniques always the same ( a slow solo met with some tapping). warren has did it all metal,blues, and everything he does is just catchy with a good grove, and some solos that have went down in metal history
