As as British person, I would be embarrassed if we were to win Eurovision, it would be a large step backwards in our musical heritage. I wish Jade luck tonight. The system is supposed to be fairer but you may still see a surprise winner from the East since most of those countries continue to vote for their neighbours. Other countries do not dislike the UK, France, Spain or Germany - heck, look at immigration. But E Europe and the likes of Greece and Turkey have millions living in the other countries - it's expats voting for their home country that skews the vote.
