@missumusicz Once you hear her voice, you learn what singing really is! I sometimes don't like to introduce her to new listeners, she is not always appreciated. Aren't we fortunate she lived in an era after recording had been invented? So glad she can be listened to forever!

She is in the company of Ella and Lady Day of whom all Jazz singers are measured against. They set a standard and raised the bar so high, that till this day remains unsurpassed
