Perfect... Moving, breathtaking, heartbreaking, full of emotion and feeling. he doesn't have a refined vocal technique but his voice so rough and painful but also so whispering and sweet fits perfectly in the lyrics and song. Pure magic.
Burt Bacharach and Jimmy Webb, two brilliant composers lacking good singing voices BUT, I'd rather here these guys perform their own songs than anybody else. What brilliance from these 2 guys and of course Hal David's a genius.
