Does anyone have any idea WHERE this video came from? I would LOVE to see the rest of it - and it's obvious there is more footage from this session --- MAN! Would it be NICE to see the rest!
I first heard this song 30 years ago, and it still has the same effect on me. I've driven many lonely miles singing along to it. Lowell George and company seem to me to express the essence of loneliness and longing in this tune. RIP Lowell.
Always thought Lowell was an attractive man but without the beard and hair - wow! he was absolutely gorgeous. My God. Not detracting from the music, I've been a fan since the 70s..
I wish there were more videos of this phase of the phenomenon that was "Little Feat with Lowell". He was so awesome, so innovative, and the rest of the band so perfect to fit in with his funkiness.
@cavenaileg Could not agree more. Bob Harris, the host of 'The Old Grey Whistle Test' on BBC2 (UK TV) turned me onto Little Feat in the 70's and I have been a huge fan ever since. Lowell is so badly missed but you know what is magical, the rest of the band are still together and playing great music. I love this film. Looks like they had been recording all night AND spaced out of their nuts!! And still 'tight' and 'in the groove'. Beautiful. Enjoy!
aaYY! let's all relax here...yo!!...well....Bob has asked me to tell you, in a reasonable way like, that he often really likes to step away from a threatening situation, if ya know what he means, and just, hey, cool things down a little here, in order that he might give this here band his undivided attention and, like, a good listening to, are ya with me..?
Stunning, brilliant. Pissed that I was born too late to make this my teen song. Lowell was amazing. I came to him through Robert Palmer, and I got to see Little Feat in Dublin just a couple of months ago.
Lowell George was a tremendous songwriter and vocalist, as well as one of the finest slide guitar players ever. May he R.I.P.

Just ultimate. About as low and laid-back as you can get. Spulful song performed by a true legend. RIP Lowell.

I love the record verion but this for me is even better, wow, raw, earthy and so laid back it's untrue. What feel they have. 10/10.

Yes. Accept that Joni Mitchell didn't write it. That will be the first step. Second, search for Little Feat albums.
