This is a great countdown, well done! Most ppl dont know about the original degrassi. What other shows cover the issues that Degrassi has cover over the years! Honestly before I saw DTNG I saw Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High! Pregnacy, Drugs, Petalifes, Homosexually... A ground breaking show for sure!

The old Degrassi show is so much more authentic and interesting then the new degrassi in my opinion. Maybe it's the nostalgia of rewatching these episodes but I can't even watch the new degrassi although I love that snake and spike are on it the feel is just is not the same.

Too bad Epitome Productions and CTV are not making any efforts to bring bread and butter characters like Joey Jeremiah, Mr. Raditch, and Caitlin Ryan back to Degrassi TNG.

One thing I love to see in Degrassi TNG is see Joey Jeremiah and Caitlin Ryan get their romance fires rekindled with no hindrances whatsoever, and then see them get married once and for all.

If Caitlin and Joey were to get married, that would be a true Degrassi classic in the making.

Now that Pasquale "Pat" Mastroianni (Joey Jeremiah), Dan Woods (Mr. Raditch), and Stacey Mistysyn (Caitlin Ryan), the characters who made the show what it is are gone, I think Degrassi: TNG will definitely go downhill.

I watched the Degrassi series religiously when I was a teenager, and its a sin that Joey Jeremiah is not in Degrassi shows anymore.
