This is second of triad at mid after Kuiama and before "from sun to the world".These three songs have very nice violonsel , very different and I believe superior amongst ELO's song though my best of best is "midnight blue."
True ELO/ Jeff Lynne fans have always known that some of his best music has never been (and probably never will be) fully appreciated. Songs like Mama, Eldorado, One Summer Dream, Shangri-la, Big Wheels, Midnight Blue, Ticket to the Moon and Don't Walk Away to name just a few. Beautiful songs with their plaintive lyrics and haunting melodies. But WE know and WE are the lucky ones.
@euelll35 I agree wholeheartedly with your statement. These days, people only remember E.L.O. because of the overplaying of "Mr. Blue Sky". The band is greater than just that song, and it's the only thing that ever gets played. I'd love to hear their "Starlight" or "One Summer Dream" in a movie or TV show just once. Those songs are great.
Never a hit but my favourite ELO song. A good reason to buy albums. I would make a list of album "filler" tracks and play them and get people to guess the groups. eg World Without Heroes by Kiss.
Such sad sad memories this record stirs up....I remember crying buckets to this when it was released, Crying just as much listening to it now all these years later Elos music is so moving it brings all of my emotion's to the surface and lets them spill over ,Theyve been a part of my life for almost forty years now i couldnt live without them.
Love this :) <3

ELO reminds me of The Beatles. This is great music.
TheJcp1234 1 year ago
@TheJcp1234 George Harrison said once that If The Beatles would have survived the 70's, they would have sounded a lot like E.L.O.
I know most of us Beatles fans who knew them before E.L.O. thought that exactly. I love both bands.

@PseudohumanoCL I love them both also.

Tranquilo gustavo, vendran artistas a plagiarte algun dia
