  • if you ask me Colborne makes the leafs when Connolly's contract is up i heard that he will be a very good top 6 center

  • Oh Steve...your videos are outstanding. I expect you'll be working at TSN or something some day with your outstanding delivery.

As far as I'm concerned, the MLB season starts when the NHL is over. If I lived near my home team (Boston) I'd go to their games, thankfully ESPN loooooves airing Red Sox games.

  • I Think That the panthers, flyers, and sabers are going to make a deep-ish type thing play-off run

  • Connolly is a center

  • Sorry dude but Burke said pretty recently that Kadri is penciled in as a winger on the Leafs, so look for him to start out in that 3rd line wing spot, he's just not cracked up to be a center in the NHL, he doesn't have the defensive wherewithal to do it. plus being on the wing gives him a chance to let his outrageous offensive talents fly, even in the small dose we saw this season he showed some ability to make brilliant plays, i believe he'll play the whole season with the buds

  • Steve isn't it awesome that the leafs finally have a good crop of prospects, the Leafs Dust bowl may be OVER!

  • @Jstokotelny17 I hope so. It's been a long, long, long, long, long, long, long time.

  • I love your videos.. I go to MLB games in Tampa, FL..

  • @frankthetank39 Yeah. That would work out best. Although Frattin can also take that spot if he manages to outplay Kadri and Frattin also has the size to play a more physical brand of Hockey that would fit better on the third line.

  • Panthers will not make the playoffs.

    Booth -Weiss-Skille? Dadonov? Upshall?

    Fleischmann-Santorelli-Skille? Dadonov? Upshall?

Considering there offense has a lot more talent then there D or goaltending they are screwed. Yes they have Campbell and Jovo but Jovo is 35 and the rest of there D is no names.

    I guess the 3rd line is Bergenheim-Versteeg/Carter-Kopecky

Versteeg is a winger but I think I heard he was versatile but that is not his natural position. Leafs beat this time everyday of the week

  • I consider myself a Milwaukee fan in MLB, but in the summer, my real sport is CFL. GO BOMBERS!

  • Can't wait for the Home Run Derby! Go Bautista!

  • Steve! i just found your videos the other day and already saw them all, great videos, butttttttt make more now please!!!!! :DDDDD keep up the great work

  • Lombardi has the ability to play LW so we could ice

    Lupul - Connolly - Kessel

    Kulemin - GRabo - MacA

    Lombardi - Bozak - Armstrong

    Rosehill/Orr - Dupuis/Ziggy - Brown

  • Vancouver Canadians? No thanks

  • whyyyyy would non leafs fans watch this. LEaf nation!

  • I LOVE Jays games!! I just wish more people went so there could be a better atmosphere! Great to go with a huge group of people and just chill with eachother while Bautista hits home runs to left field and left field only :P

  • A point a game in the AHL is really meaningless. Players are given more skating room/creativity in the minors, since systems aren't really emphasized. I saw him all the time when he played in London, and I went to a bunch of Marlies games last year, and Kadri wasn't nearly as good defensively as he has to be in the show. He'll develop, and his offensive skills are undeniable, but lack of size/strength, as well as a non-existent commitment to his own end, will handcuff him from making the show

  • Yeaaahhhh Waxers!

  • The leafs have tremendous depth, but they dont have that 2nd world class superstar that champions usually have, blackhawks had toews and kane, detroit had zetterberg and datsyuk, pens had crosby and malkin, ducks had perry and getzlaf, tampa had richards and st louis....boston didnt have it, they had luck, which is what toronto needs with this team, they can make the playoffs with this team, but until they get a 2nd superstar, this team needs luck to make it into the finals alone

  • Here is the leafs next season: riemer, gustavsson, phaneuf/aulie, schenn/liles, gunnarson/komi or franson, kessel/connolly/lupul, kulemin/grabovski/macarthur/, armstrong/lombardi/bozak, brown/dupuis/rosehill, and kadri and colborne will be the first ppl they call up, and i put bozak on wing bcuz u cant not have him on the team...hes earned it and he plays earns points like a 3rd line player

  • I'm in Boston. Die hard Sox guy. 2nd only to the Bruins for me. I go to Fenway for a game when I can.

  • Steve, with bryz now in phili but losing carter but more importantly richards you think that they're not gonna miss them a ton? I'm a huge fan of richards so maybe i'm biased but i think he was HUGE in phili and that they're gonna realize that now that he's gone. Also when am i gonna see dangle in 1080? Or at least 720!

  • Jose Bautista is an absolute monster. I think you should make a video about him.

  • the leafs depth is pretty solid

  • I would love to go to an MLB game but Calgary isn't necessarily near any baseball teams. We have one, but it's not the Majors. I've watched the Yankees ever since I was a kid though. DEREK JETER!

  • hey stevie, your smart! XD

  • lmfao this is so gunny

  • I WOULD go see MLB games, but I live by Vancouver... I have seen a Mariners game, and I would love to go watch the Jays play in Toronto, but that's just a dream at the moment.

  • I hate baseball. Just saying

  • how about roloson? he was a beast!!!

  • How about Luca Caputi? Would he be a good enough fit to be the no.3 LW?

  • @HaganeNoDan Agreed. Not a bad fit if he's healthy

  • yesss pekka rinne!!

  • Definitely not an MLB fan. Growing up around Detroit in the late 90s/early 00s it was way more gratifying to be a hockey and (to a lesser extent) basketball fan. Also baseball terminology confuses me to no end. I mean, they call their coach a manager and the way the league is organized, a team is in a division, in a league, in a bigger league? Mostly I'm joking though... baseball is pretty cool. I will say this, you don't usually get to stay for fireworks after a hockey game :)

  • No, I don't go to MLB games, simply because I am from England :P

  • Caps need to put the Ovechkin-Backstrom-Semin line together again.

  • hey steve I know u have to grom the youth but do u think that it would be a good idea for the leafs to have a youthful third line of Kadri-Bozak-frattin i think they would be great to watch as a line

  • Frattin ? for third line lw?

  • Lol I love bautista he's already at 30 HOMERUNS! Too bad the Blue Jays don't have a bullpen.

  • Damn it Steve!!!! Where's my PIE?!?!?!?!?!?

  • i go to mlb games sometimes but usually when chicago has the crosstown classic (cubs vs white sox)

  • i went to my first ever mlb game last week. so no..... lol

  • I think Vokoun-Neuvirth will be about a 55-25 split, like Boston did with Thomas and Rask.

  • I go to MLB games more than NHL. The jays tickets range like 50-150, fucking leaf tickets 100-600 lol.

  • @8kcht3 lol you can get nice outfeild jays ticks for 40 bucks :P

  • i dont go to MLB games as much as NHL games..but when i do, i watch the Yankees.

  • I'd say that Roloson is a better example than Rinne.

  • @XxSelannexX Now that you mention it, yeah he is. Both on the Oilers AND the Bolts.

  • whats up with the lighting change at 3:22? lol

  • dont forget that Florida has jacob markstrom waiting in the the wings he definitely has the potential to be a great goalie. Who knows if florida gives him a chance in goal he could easily run away with the starting job

  • Florida has terrible goaltending and added Campbell and 5-6 third liners... not sure how people think theyre going to make the playoffs

  • I love baseball, always have. Add in the fact that my Pittsburgh Pirates are actually playing baseball this year, and you have yourself one happy Timmy right here!

  • you forgot Darryl Boyce!!

  • @X2Parker2X I would've loved to have mentioned him, but he needs a contract first!

  • @SteveDangle I think Niemi is overrated personally I mean look at the teams he has played on there has never been a time in his NHL career where he hasn't had a legit contender in front of him(I'm not saying he's not good).

  • i never liked baseball until i joined a fantasy league this year and now i looooove it. went to the canada day jays game. thought it was gonna be amazing after bautista hit that booooooomb to go up 6-5 but i knew franky francisco was gonna blow it in the 9th on que. but romero made up for it after the game when i met him and he signed my molson canadian... which i refused to pound that night

  • summer is hell, mainly because there's no damm hockey on tv

    baseball can go suck it

am kinda sad that u wanna see kadri in the ahl... for personal reasons

well good that you want him to develop (always first)

but sad because hes a kinda guy who will play his hardest to be in the NHL

  • I'm a CFL guy in the summer. I'll watch baseball from time to time.162 games is a ton.

  • I'm a main baseball Guy and like hockey on the side. Even as a jays fan from Toronto I got chills with Jeter's performance today.

  • P.S go Calgary Flames!

  • I go to Seattle Mariners games with my older brother! Jose bautista hit two homeruns that game... :)

  • So... How do you feel about the Montreal Canadiens ??

  • I think MacArthur will be expendable after his contract ends. Kadri will probably take his spot when the time comes.

  • For your MLB question, only reason I pay attention to the Mariners is due to family ties with Erik Bedard. Since the Expos (and AAA Ottawa Lynx) left, baseball's practically dead to me :'(

  • from columbus i love the reds....but they suck

  • leafs and jays steve, good choices. i agree with them <3

  • Did Steve just call Niemi a great goalie? He won because the Blackhawks were a stacked team. He let in a lot of goals in the finals but the Hawks offense bailed him out.

  • @greenchef6 He was great in those playoffs. He let in some stinkers. So did Thomas.

  • @SteveDangle NO HE WASN'T. period. If you think he was even close to Thomas you're delusional. Niemi is a very average goalie. Niemi SV% was .910 with 2.63 GAA last years playoffs. Thomas had .940 SV% 1.98 GAA and he won the Conne Smythe. Niemi was downright bad in this years playoffs had below .900 and got light up. That is a huge disparity.

  • @greenchef6 lol y u mad tho?

  • @LeafsFanInOttawa i mad cuz ppl r dumb

  • @greenchef6 Niemi also rebounded well in game 7 against Detroit. The team wouldn't have been anywhere without him that game. He would have been a Vezina candidate last year if it weren't for the awful 1st half of the year he had.

  • @rollercoasterfweak You could literally say that about any goalie. Craig Anderson would be a Vezina candidate if it wasn't for that awful 1st half in Colorado. Having a good game 7 isn't impressive tons of goalies play well in that situation. Having good games here and there doesn't make a great goalie, consistency does.

  • @greenchef6 We wouldn't have been anywhere without him. Niittymaki probably would have us finish 5th or 6th in the West, and an earlier exit. I'll agree he's not great, but good. He does give us the best opportunity to win, and makes less money than Luongo, DiPietro or Miller do.

  • @greenchef6 He was definitely a Top 15 goalie, if not Top 10, in the league post All-Star game last season.

  • just saying

your iphone shouldn't be the camera

  • Bautista is simply the best, tah tah tah tah, better then all the rest, tah tah tah, better then anyone tah tah tah, anyone i've ever met tah tah tah!!!

  • 4rd!!!!! Duurrrrrrrrr

  • ass

  • tits

  • First! :)
