  • Its DB '& Angelo Baladamenti'

    is it not?

Therefore you can't compare this 2 his 'other' Style'ssssssssss

like the '& Pat Metheny' number no?

  • ... goddamned weirdest thing I've ever heard. Another word that comes to mind is 'painful'.

  • I wish he would do a Gershwin Song book, he would wipe the floor with Mr Bubble

  • No way to deny it. This just kinda... sucks. Pretentious drivel from an undeniable rock god. One of the few.

  • Omg.....the sweetest, and sexiest thing that has graced my ears

  • How dreary ...

  • He sings like an angel.

  • Wooooow, this is heavenly

  • beautiful!

  • It is amazing! I love you and your music!

  • this is certainly a wonderfull performance by David Bowie and Angelo Badalamenti,

  • David Bowie is the genius and god. That he does all is unique.

  • DAvid bowie is just so intelligent. He understands that song from the inside out.

  • ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥.................

  • I agree darkangel. He has a quiet sexiness and mysteriousness to him and a very outgoing sexiness about him too.

  • Love the video! I'm not familiar with this--I bought Red Hot and Blue, the first volume in the series. Great take by Bowie!

  • There is something about David Bowie that is just so fascinating to listen to. Idk what it is but he's just so unique. Love him .:)

  • @drkangl6 he could sing the worst song in the world but i would still listen just to hear his voice....beautiful :D <3 <3

  • its fantastik song

  • where did you find this song!! bowie in a crooner singer!! greatttt thanks

  • Where on earth did you come across this? It is fantastic!

  • Like most rock singers doing this type of song..they can`t communicate as well as the true crooners,,as the true communicators of this type of song can never be Ziggy

  • Rock singer?I think of Bowie more as a modern crooner. Not by the type of song, but by the expression of his voice, although you can also croon a lot of his songs

  • Meraviglioso!!!!!

  • Thank you, Redsails, for this gift!

  • You can't beat Judy Garland as a foreigner-version of singing this ditty.

    cheers.

  • extraordinary ! "magnifique" I can say .... thank you, and pictures are so nice ! thank you again :-)

  • superbe merci

  • Really charming pics!!five stars.

  • Beautiful!

    Thanks so much.

  • What a beautiful and atmospheric song! You put the images together with the music so well, Marianna :D. Big thank you for sharing this as it is new to me!

  • Hi Marianna! this is just fantastic! love the video and love David's voice, it's simply perfect!

  • Thank you for sharing this unusual, beautiful Bowie cover Marianna

  • Thanks everybody, I'm glad you like it.

For those who have asked me,

"A foggy day in London town" was recorded by Bowie and Angelo Baladamenti for a compilation album titled "Red Hot and Rhapsody: The Gershwin Groove", with songs composed by George Gershwin, released as a charity for Aids awareness. It was released in 1998. The photo of David wearing a check shirt and holding the microphone (appears on 0:10 on the video) was taken at the studio while recording

  • Dear redasils - thanks for posting.

  • That moves me! So sad and so great! Bowie = 100% talent. Thanks for putting it up!

  • what a beautiful cover. this was just wonderful to listen to.

  • great *_*

    but I want the photo at 1:15, 1:22, 1:39, 1:42, 2:11!!!

    where did you find them?

it's incredible, I own 6000 photos of David in my pc but everytime I find something new :)

  • Very moody. This is from the 1937 film A Damsel in Distress

  • Beautifully sad, thank you.

  • The way it looks like an old film is great! I love the effects you have used for this amazing "old video".Can't wait for your next one!!!!:)

  • Very atmospheric. I have to admit, I didn´t even knew the song before. Very moody, fine orchestrated, sung perfect by the master. 5 Stars for the song, 5 for the video. That was really good!
