I just want to add that you shouldn't make fun of Chassidim, either. They are very good people, though of course there are always going to be exceptions. And, as someone mentioned earlier, a tallis is only worn during prayer. As for the beards, Jews cannot put a razor to their faces, but now we have ELECTRIC RAZORS, so there are a great many Jewish men with clean-shaven faces, as well as plenty of Jews who do have beards (just as their are gentiles with beards) and look great.

This is completely false. I'm an Orthodox Jew, and Christmas is just a regular day for us. I know this was supposed to be funny -- it would have been, had it not been for the "Jew" picking up a penny. That was downright offensive. Believe it or not, Jews make a HUGE deal about generosity & giving charity. Also, it's only the Chassidic Jews who have the long payos. It's a stereotype. Me, I'm a blonde girl with light green eyes. I don't want to spoil your fun. I'm just telling you the truth.

While the song is definitely cute, well written and sung, your portrayal of Hasidic & religious Jews as cheap, money grubbing, wine drinking clowns is ridiculous & offensive. The Tallis is only worn in a Synagogue, not in movies or bars. Tzitzis the 4 fringed undergarment is what is really worn. In addition, Jews with Peyos do not shave, and 16 year old boys with Peyos do not have bushy full length beards. As a Hasdic Jew in the arts, I work very hard to make sure we are not portrayed as clowns.

@tkob while i can appreciate your concern, I don't know anyone who thinks of Hasidim as clowns. First of all, how could they be clowns if they have no sense of humor or ability to laugh at themselves. There are stereotypical aspects to all people and because Jews look just like everyone else, the only way to distinguish is by highlighting outward appearance that identifies one as a jew. I'm sure the artist meant no disrespect.. Clearly he loves being Jewish. Lighten up.

@tripleRdc You're so lucky that you get to do this every year! My dad's Christian so I always have Christmas dinner with him even though I don't celebrate his holiday. I have dinner at his house first and then we (my brother and I) go to our family friends' house after that and eat there.
