  • u gotta feel it! Jay defiently topped out wit this 1. im comin!Truth

  • this is jay-z only good work

  • COLE!

  • Comment removed

  • I put like 10 new albums I had never heard on shuffle, and fell asleep to it. This was like five years ago. And at 3:30 am, this song spilled into my headphones, and it woke me up. I was young, I had never heard anything so awesome, and it drew me out of sleep. I loved it, instantly. I loved it.

And that's important. Jay says it in this song - You gotta love it. Make your heart the most important thing in your life, and it'll reward you.

  • reasonable doubt was exactly what this album was is was like a trial a murdercase cause jay-z killed that shit the whole album. i suggest you call my lawyer i know the procedureXDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • This song really reminds me of a Will Smith song, beat and flow wise that is, def not lyrically similar...idk just a feeling i had haha

  • One of my all time fave songs. Such a beautiful sample

  • DAMN! this is a classic!

  • favorite song

  • Hah! theres not even a need for a like bar because no one could dislike this.

  • Lol that's all rvm3rd128's pea brain could think of to reply back.

  • @rvm3rd128 let me guess, ur thinkin, "wayne did a rock album, he changed hip hop!" look up LL Cool J, Run-DMC, Rage Against the Machine even Linkin Park...believe me, he did nothing new. I mean shit Limp Bizkit's first album was better than Rebirth (that's not saying much). As for Carter III...no. Did it sell, yes. But so did Kanye's Graduation. Is that a Kanye classic? No. I have another comment that explains classic status. Many recent albums have yet to even be considered. Carter 3 isn't one.

  • @rvm3rd128 Thanks? The fuck is wrong with niggas on youtube you a little to excited

  • @rvm3rd128 Your one-dimensional. I can't..

  • @rvm3rd128 Carter 3 and Rebirth?? Those shits are nowhere near a modern classic album. College Dropout, Get Rich or Die Trying,The Black Album, Food and Liquor, and many more. Carter 3 and Rebirth? Really?? Just because Tha Carter 3 sold a lot doesn't mean it was great.

  • @Grantasmagoria "One was meeeeh....the other was Illmatic.....that's a one hot album every ten year average" hahaha. I know Ether was better, but I still luv that bar!

  • smoked TOO many blunts to this song...

  • someone told me that jay thinks that talib kweli was the best rapper alive.

  • fuck you "weezy"

  • illuminuti slang, all up and down this song

  • @SuperBingo21 SHUT UP.

  • Thats what im saying Jay-Z isn't no typical rapper you really have to LISTEN to him to get him i mean if you spitting some shit and a fucking elementary or middle school kid can get what your saying you wack ass fuck in other words thats wayne " You niggas chicken pollo " oh wait heres a better one " Its a jungle out there Lion, Horses and Rams " LMAO oh yeah he got punchlines and misleading the children to think the jungle has fucking rams and horses lol... Its The Roc!!!

  • this ablum is jays best work to date

  • roc a block rocafella

  • seriously, i dont want to hear anyone try to relate lil wayne and Jay Z. Lil wayne is garbage in comparison. Made from top notch classic 70's jazz, worked in top notch lyrics over a beat like this, give me a break man. New age rap lost that touch from their roots of Jazz, this was about something real, emerging from the struggle to a great life. Not many rappers had that, and for damn sure almost none have the appreciation in the new age.

  • @1anonymouspenguin Took the words right outta my mouth

  • Smh Man u can really get lost in this beat if u listen too it...dope ass chorus also

  • im feelin' it too.....

  • Old chill Jay-Z is about the only kind of Jigga I like. This & Regrets are my two favorites along with the rest of Reasonable Doubt..

  • jay z best song hands down

    perfect beat...im fellin it

  • @charlesslone1997 yeah I didn't like any Jay-Z after this, until the Black Album

  • @driftingdynamic i feel the same, the other 6 albums in between was his dumbed down version.

  • @driftingdynamic Really? you didn't like The Blueprint? That's classic #2 from Jay-Z to me. The Black Album was #3. Damn! who does that. Who comes out with 3 classic albums in their career!?

  • Outasight sent me

  • @leemayzes same here!

  • Jayz>((Lil Wayne+Eminem+BIG+Tupac)Rakim^Big L)^(Every other good rapper)

  • @HipHopIsDeadMohsin you officially lost all credibility, don't comment anymore... big and pac combined would be better than any rapper to touch this earth. no please delete your account you look like a dumbass bitch

  • @iCLaSSiiC You gay fucking cunt, fuck you, you bitch whore faggot shit. IDC what the fuck you think.

  • Every body want Jay on there mixtape/Album ) wayne freestyled a diss on the either beat ) 2008 he ask him to send him a verse for Mr.carter how do you mean faggot

  • Jay Z is da GOD in hip hop ...ask Weezy

  • Nas>Jay-Z lol if you don't believe me listen to ether or halftime

  • @Tutuze4armenia that maybe true according to the listener but what does that have to do with this song??? its like me going to a Nas video and putting " big pun >nas" .. whats the point?? no disrespect, just asking?

  • @Tutuze4armenia Ok. That may be true....but what does that have to do with commenting on this song? Well....at least your not as bad as the ppl who come to a Jay-Z page just to say how much better is Lil Wayne hahaha

  • Jay Z is The God of Music!

  • hell yeah im feelin it, weezy dont even compare

  • tune

  • This is sick, but i like Curren$y's better

  • Next 2 Big @ Pac Jay-Z is the best to ever do it

  • Comment removed

  • @bballerr3 stupid dumbasses like you are always bringing up all this bullshit about these no name shit heads being the best rappers and nobody ever gives a fuck, and in the end you realize why he is and always will be a no nmae shithead. so shut your buzzkill, if you open it again my buzz might go down

  • After BIG @ PAC Jay-Z is the best to ever do it....

  • Comment removed

  • Jay Zeezy...

  • I'm not even a Jay-Z fan but Reasonable Doubt is a classic, and this is was one Hova's greatest joints no doubt. DJ Ski did a fantastic job on this.

  • Comment removed

  • i hate comin on here and seein on tha comments talkin about wayne, fuck that nigga how can u even compare him to jay-z? hes not even on tha level jay-z was on when he was infant real talk

  • Hott song

  • Man I feel this shit...

  • Classic shoulda went triple!

  • that said, carter 2 isnt even in the same galaxy as reasonable doubt, illmatic, 36 chambers, or ready to die.

  • @SoloDolo784 dont be a clown, only a troll would assert such a ludicrous proposition. I'm sure also your an outspoken proponent of soulja's boys lyrical prowess

  • if u say classic is an album that yu must listen to to b a fan of hip hop, carter 2 is classic status imo. dudes on here continue to bitch at me bout this statement. but that album is special for different reasons. 1 is on alot of the songs weezy will talk between his lines, which i feel is pretty sick. plus the fly in fly out carter 2 tracks are perfect fr beginnin middle n end. reminded me of illmatic. then some of the songs like tha mobb, shooter, feel me jus go hard as hell and are unique.

  • @SoloDolo784 it's a decent album but i dont know about it being a classic. is the carter 2 the type of album that has iconic status in hip hop like reasonable doubt, ready to die, illmatic, etc.? classic albums define the genre and i can't see the carter 2 being a member of that club.

  • @SoloDolo784 dont be a clown. only a troll would assert such a ludicrous proposition

  • @SoloDolo784 The Carter 2 is definitely Lil Waynes best work, but it isn't good enough to be a classic. But I have to be honest, it's actually a pretty good album. Maybe one of the best rap albums of the decade, but it isn't a classic.

  • lil wayne is garbage i cant believe he wanna go at jay brooklyn stand up jay-z is the blueprint ... pause ... all wayne doin is tryin to follow it he wanna go rock n roll ater jay mixed his album wit linkin park these niggas aint watchin whats goin on they not listinin all they can hear is waynes delivery an thats what makes them like him cuz wayne aint sayin nothin that the rest havent already said

  • i feel it do you ?

  • One of my best Hova songs.

  • Jay fathered wayne's style for years Wayne admitted on multiple songs

  • jay z is da best,he got it real talk

  • Checkout the video instrumental, comment what you think. LawsonBeatz, 19 Y.O Music Producer, free beats. Thumbs up please.

  • on some real shit jay needs to bring back his old flow

  • Feeeeeeel tha high dat u get from da la!

  • im feelin it . fell the devil burnin up my soul . im feelin it !!!!!!!!!

  • weezy fucks this camel lookin fool up any given day. if u dont agree, just.. wow, down syndrome? yup, u have it.

  • @TFPhenominal lol son shut up...Weezy got "renegaded" by this dude on Mr. Carter, when Jay the reason why the term even exists...and you're tellin me that Wayne is better? Name a CLASSIC album that Wayne put out that has changed the course of Hip-Hop...don't worry I'll wait.

  • @MdotEB2dailly MdotEB2dailly Ummm... THA CARTER 2???!! u dum fuck. Carter out-sold every jay-z album known to man. AND C3. and actuially C1. oh wait.. and 500 degreez.. oh..and Lightz out... yeah.. R.I.P jay-Z

  • @TFPhenominal Then why r u even on this song, go listen to ur Wayne son, u clearly don't know hip hop...And The Carter II (while it is my fav album by dude) is NOT Blueprint, Reasonable Doubt, or Vol.2 Hard Knocks Life, not mention the Black Album. Wayne's whole persona is tryna compete wit Jay, but if u wanna talk about SALES, Jay is Top 5 of all time in total hip hop record sales. Wayne is below DMX...pbbt gtfoh. Also look up what a certified classic is...Wayne's albums never made the list.

  • @TFPhenominal When u talk about classics, ur talkin about Paid In Full, Illmatic, Midnight Marauders, Ready to Die and yea Reasonable Doubt...ACTUALLY classic, as in YOU MUST KNOW if u like hip hop (NOT "it sold a million copies, therefore it's a classic.") Wayne over time is gaining credibility as far as what he's done to change Hip-Hop, but CLASSIC, hell no. A lot of people have fallen short of that too, so it's not like ya boi ain't good, just not classic.

  • @MdotEB2dailly you a nigga

  • @MdotEB2dailly Both these niggas suck. this one of gay zs only good songs. Devils burn, when yall young niggas gonna learn?

  • @MdotEB2dailly i love me some Mr, Carter thats my jam no doubt

  • @MdotEB2dailly jay best rappa alive

  • @mgingerelli after nas

  • @mgingerelli AGREED!!

  • @mgingerelli hahahaha funny shit

  • @MdotEB2dailly To be fair since carter 3 hip hop has been run by young money and rick ross. and u cant deny this.

  • @phewdem Lol no sir raps run by the 13 year old girls who vote for the same shitty music videos every day. If you don't believe musics dead then why don't MTV VH1 or BET play music regularly not from 4-6 A.M. when everyones sleeping?

  • @MdotEB2dailly carter 3

  • @MdotEB2dailly carter 3

  • @MdotEB2dailly WAYNE SAY WAYY MO BETTER SHIT THEN JAY Z....NA HE TRIPPIN WITH THAT ROCK N ROLL PIERCING SHIT....BUT WAYNE GOT WAYY MO METAPHORS AND HE CAN SAY THE SIMPLEST SHIT AND MAKE IT SOUND TOUGH....WHEN JAY Z SAY SOME SIMPLE SHIT IT JUST SOUND LIKE A RHYME PUT TOGETHER....DONT GET ME WRONG JAY Z IS HOT...AND CLASSIC BY WAYNE???? LISTEN TO "DR.CARTER" THE CARTER 1 "BRING IT BACK" WAS CLASSIC LISTEN TO "ASK DEM HOES" THESE COLLASAL SONGZ THAT JAY Z VOCAB CAN'T MATCH

  • @gottagoup2 wayne suck Jay-Z rap about real shit Wayne only talk about drug, money, bitches and about kissing baby lol I can relate to this shit

  • @gottagoup2 are u high?? who says shit like this..this is like the most forbidden statement ever in life...look at jay-z and then look at lil wayne in nis prime...then look at record sales...like wtf is wrong wit u son

  • @gottagoup2 i dont think that wanyes metaphors are like easy any one could get it jay z references are like on another level......LISTEN CLOSELY

  • @MdotEB2dailly WEEZY WORK WAAAAYYY HARDER THEN JAY-Z AND HARDER THEN ANY OTHER RAPPER IN THE GAME...THE ONLY PERSON TO EVER WORK HARDER THEN WEEZY IS TUPAC(R.I.P)...THE BEST RAPPER CROWN GOES TO WHOEVER WORKS THE HARDEST AND PRODUCE MORE..WHICH WOULD BE PAC WEEZY AND JAY-Z

  • @STR8PURP100 No, in art u critique for quality, not quantity. Pac is arguably the best b/c he was well ahead of his time, not b/c the amount of tracks he made. Wayne still borrows Pac's style. Shit Jay even did to a degree...(Bonnie and Clyde '03; not a shining moment for Jigga). There are so many ppl who deserve higher regard in the game than Wayne it's not even funny. And to be honest, I like Wayne, but he's not the GOAT. Top 25 maybe....but not even Top 10.

  • @TFPhenominal your actually deaf

  • @TFPhenominal man u on some other shit weezy anyin n sound like nut is stuck n his throat :o

  • @TFPhenominal man u on some other shit weezy annoyin n sound like nut is stuck n his throat :o

  • @TFPhenominal thats like saying a baby with butterknives can beat up a samuria your a fucking idiot

  • oh i got my L right here..why else would i be listenin to dis shit fo ;]

  • @ItsBIGSMOKEDAWG yes sir.. this song keeps me coming back tho... i made a nice remix to this beat on my page but jay's verses in this are just classic.. respect

  • Hova!!

  • those nightmares mom!

  • This nigggaaa went harddddddd...im feeelingggg ittt

  • just killin it hova. get some.

  • this last verse on this song is one of my favorite verses of ALL TIME!! its deep as hell

  • check yo boy out on twt. I gotta jayz movement. Folla @ jayzclassicbars

  • Everybody say nas shitted on hov on ether so that makes him better shut the fuck up one song doesnt make you better where is nas now? exactly hov longevity is like no other he is the best to ever do it, better than big and waaaaaaaaaaay better than pac, whose to say biggie and pac albums wouldn't flop if they never died?

  • @MrBoldKaiser1 To quote (er, paraphrase, really) someone else I saw on Youtube once, Nas took an entire song to supposedly murk Jay. Jay did it in one verse.

  • @SBIMEZM86 exactly

  • @MrBoldKaiser1

There you have whats wrong with the so called "hip hop" fans of today...as if record sales has anything to do with Pac and Biggies legacy. Do you listen to their music? I couldnt care less if their albums "flopped", they are still better than 99% of the music that has come out after their passing.

  • @MrShowtime629 agreed i honestly dont think pac is as good as ppl say biggie is great i love his music, but i like jay z more that all i listen to i hate this new school garbage i only listen to old nas, jay z biggie big pun i like j,cole he has potential i hate drake, and i like luda the old luda

  • @MrBoldKaiser1 I stay bumpin 90's hip hop...after 2000, there are about 2 songs a year I can vibe with.

JCole is on...and Jay Electronica has that 90's feel to him too.

  • @MrShowtime629 yea j.cole is a crazy lyricist that friday night lights was unbelievable if that was an mixtape i can only think of what the album sounds like and electronica is like a 90's rapper cuz he just know everything even has that lazy flow

  • Eminem & him still awsome to this day

  • Hov is one of the only rappers to be consistent his whole career and he has been in the game over 10yrs. He grows with his audience and doesnt talk about the same shit over and over. Hes def the best in the game no doubt from Reasonable doubt to Blueprint3.

  • i agree that jay-z is nasty but nas shits on him in ether

  • imo anyone who does anything with wayne has officially sold out ie. Jay and em but its nice to reminisce when music was raw and real

  • "Life is still a b*tch and then you die, but for now life close your eyes and feel this d*ck"

get it?...(F*ck that B*tch called life!) . it's too hard sometimes lol

    man that's sick!

  • j been teaching for years. im feeling it and can i live is shit u bang after praying to the most highest power. joc citi! h-town people. look up our next great rappers. j-dawg,allycat. realist 2 out period. jz is a legend. nothing but respect.he lucky he got b before me

  • Nem, Nas, and Jay are the only certified Legends in the game right now. everyone else is on a totally different level

  • Comment removed

  • usmarine u said it all right ther homie..........

  • Jay-Z is suckin the illuminaties dick so hard now!!!!

  • @MFLunitic You just can't handle the fact that a black man is successful. Bet you believe that he has something to do with the devil too lol? Do something productive. Definition of a hater.

  • @Junttari Exactly! thank you for speakin that truth to him bruh

  • I've never loved Jay Z but respect his catalog and style... I think Nas, Em, and Jay are on an elite class of rappers and everyone else is a little lower down the totem pole

  • @DirtyCurtDCN8 Lupe and jay Electronica will be up there if they are not up there

  • Check out SunnySide, a potential music group with future! Roca Fella Influence!!!

  • not beeing a downer but when people say pac is number 1 ever i laugh seeing when he was alive even to the day he died no one considerd him as such he dies and his popularity and suppose skill

times 10 not saying he wasnt one of the best just putting that out their lol

  • 1. Pac 2. Nas 3. Biggie 4. Mos Def 5. Jay-Z 6. Common 7. Em 8. Rakim 9. Big L 10. 3-Stacks

  • @IBallLikeMJ23 OK, erase the last two and add 2pac & kanye and u got a killer list right there

  • @IBallLikeMJ23 great names terrible order, no disrespect to pac, but if u think pac tha best, your cooked

  • what shorthy where youu disappear to son mainttaining jz made this one 4 me

  • THE OFFICIAL LIST (No one other list matters) 1. Biggie 2. Jay-Z 3. Tupac 4. Nas 5. Eminem 6. Rakim 7. KRS-One 8. Big L 9. LL Cool J 10. Snoop Dogg
  • @Alexx3600 see, but to become one of the greatest you have to do great in all categories, you can't just be stuck in the nineties and say that what you spit is "true hip hop" it just comes off as ignorant. Please don't compare someone the caliber of Jay to lil wayne, wayne is a punchline rapper thats extremelty overrated. i respect the artists that are the complete package, and if they aren't then they better be lyrically amazing. i mean like talib is a beast and he mixes it up more than KRS

  • Jay-z looks dope in that pic

  • @bmanolf u forgot to say no homo

  • Jay is the best rapper out there cnt no1 touch him.he has been in the game for dumb long n still gettin mad paper...n if u aint feel it then fuck u.

  • Hov on that new shit n-ggas like how come

N-ggas want my old sh-t, buy my old album

N-ggas stuck on stupid, I gotta keep it moving

"what? so u can sound more like g unit"

Reasonable doubt is one of the best hip hop albums ever!

  • im feelin it

  • @Alexx3600 blueprint 3 had tonz of huge hits and had some innovative sounds in venus vs mars. off that was probably jays worst solo song ever... maybe next to sunshine, which i'm just saying that because the video was some garbage shit for sunshine and too soft.

kingdom come was an alright album, my least favorite

KRS isn't relevant at all, rakim is a beast big l is tight

krs is still in the same mindset as when he started and people don't want to hear it, change your game dog

  • 9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB

  • One of my favorite Albums... I listen to this shit when Im in grind mode, it keeps me focused.

  • @ Panikzekilla. your a retard.

  • smoke a blunt to this
