  • Ford had an anti moosing pipe in the Mondeo. All cars should have that!

  • oamk fi? thats my school in Finland. Whats that doing in prius?

  • @rA177vP when I was there back in '07 this prius was a "lab" for the automotive dpt ;)

  • The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie!The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie! The hybrid is a lie!

  • @pchamberlain

Wait, I'm not sure i got it, were you saying the hybrid is a lie? ;)

  • I don't see why people hate these cars. I'd chose a small hatchback car before a suv or truck any day.

  • blame the eco tyres...and the car actually...rolls like a dice..

  • I love my Prius. Owned a lot of cars and the Prius definitely wins my vote for an all round car for long trips and town.

Owning a jap family car doesn't mean that I don't like performance. I have a 66 Ford Mustang Fastback here in Australia and I imported it from the USA 5 years ago. Handles worse than the Prius, but it sure pulls more bitches (nice ladies). lol

I love seeing anti-Prius people dig at Prius owners with the environmental impact argument like you really care! LOL

    So cowardly.

  • no danger at all.

it will never be fast enough to be dangerous.

  • Prius' are just as bad for the Earth as my truck...

  • @smartepants777

u do have a point. to make a prius, they mine the nickle in canada, send it on a huge ship where it gets refined in europe, then onto a train to china where it gets turned into a foam, then in japan where it gets put into the batteries

  • @smartepants777 I fuck the Earth with my Prius cock! It might be a small jap cock, but it can still burrow far enough into your moms holes to keep her satisfied.

Here we had BP fucking over the whole environment on and off the coast of Cali, we had Exxon-Valdez spill in Alaska and countless others and then Prius haters pull the "But it's not environmentally friendly!" argument as their petrol guzzlers contribute to the same shit. Hypocrisy anyone? There's fucking loads of it ready for your use!

  • @smartepants777

They're worse. The amount of crap burped into the air to build a Prius is more than your truck'll emit over it's life. V8 pickups all the way!

  • @2007Escalade Agreed! (And Prius crushers!)

  • where's the moose?

  • Like if any eco-nut is going to drive fast enough to actually understeer.

  • How retarded are people? Seriously? Shift into neutral, turn off engine, use parking brake slightly till you come to a stop. Nonono! Let's let it redline and let's go 160! :D Fucking idiotic people these days..

  • its ok they deserve to die if they cant manage to put it in park.

  • @Jimmio92 Haha! That's what I said.

  • hydrogen is so impractical. you can't store it. you have to create it which uses electricity. the least expensive hydrogen car is close to $1000000. so why when we already have sufficient technology on electric cars and we have already built some, (impact) why don't we continue with that instead of hydrogen. so far the only reason is car companies will only see one payment. electric cars very rarely need servicing. that's why they want hydrogen cars.

  • @Awesomeman1987 Agreed. But Honda does have some ugly car that runs on hydrogen, and it's launched, has been for years.

  • @TheeFuhrer You an idiot it's a test car and only celebrities and certain people own it.. not everyone can buy it, and it's called the FX Clarity

  • @Roadrash1991 Well sorry mister Honda. I was mistaken. It's still a fuck ugly vehicle, it's still launched in terms of cars, even if no one can buy it but certain people.

  • @Awesomeman1987 False.

  • @Awesomeman1987 Electric cars are defanatly NOT the future. If anything, it's hydrogen cars, and Honda sells the Clarity for a mere 20K. It's way more practical than any electric car could hope to be.

  • @AdrianC12345 Honda does not sell the Clarity, they lease it for $600/month. It's only available in Southern California because it's the only place with the infrastructure, which also means you can't leave. By contrast, the infrastructure for electric cars already exists and there are several models that are being sold instead of leased. Also, hydrogen motors are very complex meaning they will be difficult to maintain, and electric motors only have one moving part.

  • @yourwifecalledagain But electric cars only go 60 miles at most, and it takes 16 hours for them to recharge. And there is an electric motor in the hygrogen car, and what's complicated about it? You just take out the fuel cell and replace it. The downsides to electric cars more than outweigh the good sides. And so what if the infastructure exists that's why it's the FUTURE of cars. And electric cars are very expensive too, for a cheap little crapmobile that's VERY slow.

  • @AdrianC12345 That's false, electric cars go at the least 100 miles on a charge and charge in 6-8 hours. More modern electric cars will go 300 miles on a charge and will have replaceable battery packs so that you can "recharge" in 5-10 minutes (you will also be able to charge them overnight at home). These cars are already on their way to being produced. Electric cars are also faster than gas powered ones because you have access to all of your power at once. Your facts are all wrong!

  • @AdrianC12345 (cont'd) That's not to mention that hydrogen cars use water for power, which is already in very short supply without desalinization. You also need some other source of power to convert the water into hydrogen and once it is converted it's very hard to store. And do you really want to go back to filling up at a pump when you could just recharge your car from your house? I know which one I would rather do.

  • @yourwifecalledagain Water for fuel? No moron, hygrogen cars make water. Yes the Tesla claims to go 250+ miles but you have to be driving incredibly slow to do that and that car is very expensive. You don't converte water into hydrogen you get it from the air. And you'd rather have to charge up your car for 6-8 hours rather than wait 2 minutes to fill up a hydrogen car? And how expensive would it be to buy multiple car batteries then you have to change it yourself? You're funny, each one -

  • @AdrianC12345 Hydrogen does not come from the air, hydrogen comes from water using a process called electrolysis. It can also come from certain crops, but we can't grow enough to satisfy the need. And yes, I would rather plug in my car overnight and charge while I was asleep! I don't drive more than even 20 miles in a typical day, and an electric car is good for much more than that on a charge.

  • @yourwifecalledagain You might not drive that far but there are people in this world thaat do. Including me, and not they're only good for about 100 miles and that's driving too slow for what I drive. Electric cars simply have too much wheight on them and batteries don't last long enough. Plus stupid things like the G-wiz aren't exactly safe.

  • @yourwifecalledagain -each batterie wheighs at least 500 pounds, I'm not sure that's convinent.

  • @AdrianC12345 Battery swapping would most likely take place somewhere similar to a gas station (and so you would probably only do that on long trips), that of course would have some sort of system used to change the battery.

  • TOYOTA"S LIES AND KILLS toyota made the biggest recall in the world poeple died because techincal problems but toyota said it was a rubber floormat problem but even toyota's without those floormats crashd because the accelerator was stuckt and you can't brake . TOYOTA IS NASTY

  • you are a fucking retard. how many recalls should gmc have had and didn't be cause they quietly covered them up. in fact, the 1953 era buick roadmaster had the exact same problem. except lots of people had to find out by smashing in to a tree, not from the company itself. dont fuck with toyota quality.

  • North Americans loves to depreciate Prius, but until now, no Americans made a single economic an little more green car, just V6, V8 monsters Gas Guzzlers... And so, the Prius is a city car, not a Sport! Why just ONE gear? There is no gear! Is CVT, improve much more power than the conventional Automatics.

Americans just don't like the idea thar the Japaneses makes cars better than them.

When North Americans try an Euro Cars, they'll see that American Cars are Junk!

  • Do you know how complicated and damaging to the environment it is for Toyota to make a Prius? Just wondering, because the nickel used to make the batteries has to come from somewhere, and it is definitely not mined in Japan. If you are curious, look it up. I say: Wind/Water/Solar Energy -> Electricity -> Hydrogen Production -> Internal Combustion or Fuel Cell Cars -> Energy problems SOLVED

  • its a prius. what do you expect

  • probably because people won't buy it; auto cars outsell manuals by heaps nowadays. at the end of the day, theyre still a business

  • automatic cause RARELY ANYONE IN america is gonna give a car with a manual a second thought. not to mention that the prius only has one fucking GEAR!!!

  • the could have tried a diesel engine hybrid couldn't they? that would have pulled it off

  • good point! It is interesting that Honda have launched a hybrid 6 speed manual transmission and shown it at the recent Tokyo Motor Show (the CX?? - I forget the name) (they call it a sports car) that will go into production next year. Finally, a manufacturer that recognises that manual transmission & hybrid is greener!! What I don't understand that is why they don't develop a double-clutch automatic with the gears lined up just like a manual, but without the clutch & a drive position too.

  • Crap, a dent on the bumber, lost some mpgs.

  • it failed

  • noo q bestia se llevo todos los conos puestos xd

ese es el de la cyrus...

  • I wonder how my Pickup would do on this lol

  • fuck you mutha fucker

  • oh shit a chino gangster lmao im so scared

  • you do not want the triads coming after you bicth

  • send your chink tribe moth fucka

  • ahahahahahah i plus 1 one. tree hugging hippie mac apple fan boys in their fucking prius. Those fuckers cant drive either. They always drive like idiots on the freeway and shit

  • Priuses doesn't protect the natural environment as shown in this video. NO MORE JAPO LUNCH BOXES PLEASE!

  • who cares about esc? hit the fucking moose

  • u dont what that 2 happen dude... trust me, if u hit it, its legs will snap and ittl come right through the wind-shield, i live 2 states away from Maine and people get killed every year from hitting moose

  • not to mention it would completely trash your car forcing you to total it most likely and you are out the entire cost of your vehicle lol

  • pum... killed...

  • horrible looking cars

  • extreme understeer

  • its just a prius just roll the damn thing

  • They should try with with a Prius with Electronic Stability Control

  • what's happened????

  • HA HA Nothing to say now prius-fans?

  • Well... I took this video, and as far as I don't like this car... I have to say that the test shown here might have been done at high speed with winter tyres...

  • Ok I get your point, but the thing is that this video displays exactly how bad handling car this is. Just look the how understeery it is!

  • No it dosnt. The 'Moose test' is a test to check if a car will roll over if you suddenly change direction at high speed. Its famous from 1997 when the Mercedes A-Class failed it.

The understeer (which isn't horrific by any standards) will be the traction control kicking in to avoid the car loosing control, at the end of the day its not a sports car so handeling wont be a big issue for people who buy them ;)

  • Traction control puts braking force on the slipping wheel, and if that fails, cuts engine power by X%.

Explain how traction control makes a car understeer.

ESC works when the car is at X angle and applies braking force to X wheels to bring it inline. The car didn't oversteer at all during the period of this video, so its safe to assume traction control and electronic stablility control were not infact active.

I come the conclusion that it was not ESC, but pure understeer due to a poor design.

  • completely correct.

  • I know I am ;)

  • with proper tires it would handle like a normal car,but toyota puts these not even close to high performance tires, instead they put some eco-friendly tires

  • @JohnTheBaptiste under steeeeeeeeeeeeeeer
