I bought a Jetstream HB about a year ago. Absolutely love it, this guitar just stays in tune and plays like a dream. terrific sustain, and the voicing with the Bass Contour Knob gives a very wide range of tone variation, even without pedals or a modeling amp. I play through a Vox Valvetronix and an Orange Tiny Terror, and would let any of my other guitars go before this one. As far as I'm concerned, highly recommend.

It wouldve probably been a good idea to keep the bass contour knob and the pick-up selector in the frame.

actually, it sounds more like a low end Marshall. the spider i played through didn't sound that bad.

all in all, though, i like the tone of the guitar.

You can make a 300€ pirate stratocaster sound better with a shitload of effects and a Marshall, than a Fender Custom Shop through a behringer 5 watt amp.

He's probably not playing through the greatest amp he has. Usually when he's reviewing amps he's playing an Epiphone Les Paul. So then he's using an average guitar. I guess he would use an average amp when he does guitar reviews.

@suihkubad What effects do you hear? Overdrive and reverb: the two effects that are built into just about every decent amp. What kind of amp it is doesn't matter, except that it's probably a good one. From the sound of it, I'd say it's got 6l6's, if I were guessing. It's guitar world... they've been doing reviews for a bit. They're not going to use crappy amps and effects that color the tone.
