And I appreciate (most of) the cars in the vid, but there's also precious little racing or anything of substance, just a lot of cut scenes of drivers in the middle of running themselves into a ditch or slowly moving around the camera. Muscle is still out there, it's just you can get much nicer cars with the tuners, plus alot of tuners out there can either keep up with muscle, or just flat out beat it. I would love to have a few older muscle cars, but just to cruise in. I personally own a 350Z and an 89 mustang gt. The Z is my get out and have fun/speeding car and I just cruise in the mustang on nice days.

Sure, they may not be as much bang for your buck, but in the end, they almost always outperform a tuner. Especially when you look and see most say, 800whp Supras against a stock 360? Consider what it takes for a tuner to get to that level...

Cause anyone can make a drag car. Either way is expensive. That's why you see so many posers, and thus, ricers, on the street. They can't afford to turn it into something special.

In the ratio of how many there are, not many tuners can beat exotics.

You modify a car because it doesn't match your standards. Thus, it is no longer say, a Corolla anymore, it is a modified chassis of that car. This is why exotics almost always outclass "tuners", because few tuners can stand to an exotic. Skyline, Supra, RX-7, STi, WRX, to name the majority. Think of how many exotics can perform above those levels.

Most cars need modification to meet the cut.

You sure they're lighter? And, are you sure on the top speed? 208, or 240 mph? There's a large difference there, you know. Not many cars can hit that. I've seen cars well over 1k hp at the wheels fail to break 210. Some, even to break 200. These cars, built more than likely as dyno, or drag queens, the best could probably barely beat one on the drag, but on a circuit, wouldn't even see the McLaren for probably a full lap, and they'd suffer a true defeat. NOS wouldn't help them then.

And, for a second reply to your nonsense, I do know things about tuners. Supras are nice, I'll give them that, but they aren't on par with the McLaren F1. Some of these could beat perhaps, a 355, or maybe even the best could hang with an F40, but none could dream of keeping up with an F1.You just don't know a thing about real life applications.
