It's an optical illusion. Notice the shadow are going away from the camera. And if you look closely, you can see the shadow of her on the ground, away from the viewer. There is just a wooden platform on the sand, and the shadow is from a flag (notice there are flags on the beach)

There is a flag off camera that projects a shadow that makes it look the the platform she's standing on is floating instead of on the sand.
