@kodiak1966 He is only just the main reason to Mötley Crüe became as famous as they did. Everybody in the and around the band hated him in the 80's, but they needed him 'cause he was the one who primary made the money for everyone. He was the genius.

As a 21 year old fan of Motley Crue, I grew up listening to them. I find Nikki's story incredibly inspiring and relatable. My father was a wannabe rockstar himself, playing shows and all that. But, in true rockstar form, he became addicted to heroin. He died when i was 15. He was 37. Nikki and my dad have inspired me to speak out against drugs with music. (:

@bethcullen08 Sad story but thank you for sharing. I too was a Muso and sung in some bands and sadly was caught up in image, and indulged in wayy too much Speed. YOU will enjoy it for a short period, BUT just around the corner is other things like Liver problems and the FIRST one High Blood Pressure, something you need to take medication for the rest of your life !!! Might not sound like much, but I think i got the easy end of the stick
