  • maaaan I'm italian and that pasta dough looks nasty...and anyway you don't need any pasta mix or whatever...you just need the right flour and if you don't have the right flour just add an egg every 100g flour ;)

  • I'd hate to see him bump the speed control while his hands are in the bowl! But then again, it might generate a lot of hits.

  • im buying this shit....!!!!!

  • What number on the ka pasta sheet roller is good for ravioli ka ravioli maker ?

  • I love my kitchen aid mixer. if you are going to buy the pata and ravioli make sure you GET THE HEAVY DUTY ONE . it will last longer with the heavy work load of the pasta makers and grinders

  • Year after year I've debated buying this attachment set. It's spendy so I wasn't sure if I wanted to actually put out the money or if it would be easy enough to bother using on a regular basis. Thank you for such a clear and well presented demo. 'm ordering it on Amazon now.

  • OMG I want one of these. Thanks for the demo.

  • since when we do not put eggs in pastadough.......?

  • @ddjsd03 there are two kinds of pasta: with or without eggs. for ex. spaghetti, penne are made with just water and flour(semolina).

  • Im decided to buy a kitchenaid stand mixer! Im in love with the Artisan serie!

I can use this attachtment in one from de artisan series?

I think he uses one of de professionals!

    Pleaseeeeee let me know!

  • @Stertje1979

Yes, you can use it with your artisan model.

  • The chef does not use eggs to make the fresh pasta!!!! scandalous!!!! Trust this recipe to prepare the dough: 100 grams flour for each egg, no water needed! am Italian, can teach you something!!

  • People. He's not trying to teach you the recipe, but rather the technique. He's trying to sell his pasta mix (which will have all the exact instructions/ingredients on the box), and he's showing you how "easy" it is (or whatever) to make the pasta using his boxed dry mix.

  • Very cool. This is a video on how the kitchenaid pasta attatchment works, people! Not on how to actually make the dough/filling.

  • Rosa (see other videos on youtube) needs to see this!

  • Peter,

This video doesn't give specific information. You DON'T mention:

    1. What ingredients you're using...

    2. How much water, flour, time to mix...

    3. How many eggs in the mixture?

    4. Where to buy fine grade semolina..how much, etc.

If you intend to TEACH, get the basics in there. Otherwise, don't tease us with how the machine works. Anyone can do that.

  • Um, he's not really trying to teach us how to make the pasta, he's demonstrating the kitchenaid. Hence the big kitchenaid logo at the beginning of the video; he works for kitchenaid.

  • Even the KitchenAid salespeople on YouTube give ingredients and more info. Check out the woman in Australia doing this same technique.

  • True, but that's not the ultimate purpose of these videos. The goal is to sell you the mixer and the attachments (and in his other videos, the dry pasta mix) not to really educate you beyond the fact that you "need" a KitchenAid. And for the record, I just bought one a few weeks ago and the pasta attachment and I frickin' LOVE it.

  • I bought one a few weeks ago too and love it. My point in all these posts is that there are big differences with amounts of things such as types of eggs, how many, types of flour, folds, etc. People just want a good, basic recipe. Glad you like yours.

  • Totally, but I guess what I'm saying is that there are a ton of vid's on here with the recipe, as well as the stuff that came with the mixer/attachments. The point of these vid's are to demonstrate how easy it is to use so you will want to go out and buy one of your own. It's not a how-to video, it's a marketing demo.

  • excelent

  • this is a shit!....it isn't ravioli....ravioli of shit!

  • i wish i had this in my exam heeps

  • I still use a checkered rolling pin to make mine. I like the convenience of what you are doing, but you use a machine for everything and still have to roll the ravioli out by hand-cranking it? Looks delicious, tho! Check out my ravioli videos! Thanks!

  • hey "Peter Pasta"...how about providing the amounts of your ingredients?

  • This looks so... wrong. But fun! I think I would use this to make a spicy gnocchi-type ravioli, but alas I do not have the budget for such a device.

  • so many parts... what happened to good old fashioned elbow grease?!

  • yea the paster mahcnie i got looks like half the size of that one, and definately does not plug into the mains lol

  • technology...we left the stone age.

  • wow! I just bought my raviolis attachment, I had never used. Now I saw how easy is used to!

Tomorrow I'll do my raviolis. Thank you!!!

  • Peter Pasta yet again shows how it's done!

Visit KitchenAidTV to find more information about KitchenAid portable appliances and their accessories.

  • Take a look how we make them in Bologna, Italy.....click on our channel!

  • What fun is making a pasta with only machines?

  • Holy crap. That's amazing!

  • holy friggin...

i am... in awe. I am a chef at heart, and i almost orgasmed when i realized that he was about to fill and cut the raviolis at once......

i cant WAIT until i buy my own..

    ryan
